It looks like the 3rd branch of government is opting to stay the course and hang on for at least as long as the President does. I sense that the rest of them are now alive to the peril of letting this man appoint any more justices. He really shouldn't have taken the opportunity at the State of the Union to admonish and condemn the justices sitting right there in front of him. What age and a desire to retire would have surrendered to naturally, was hijacked by an even stronger conviction that they didn't have to take that from a pipsqueak.

I wonder if any of them see a resemblance now to other Banana Republic Heads of State who ruled best when ruling by executive decree. I wonder if any of them now regret their vote on the Constitutionality of Obamacare.

They may not have made their decision based on the Constitution but they could at least have required the Legislature to produce a law that applied to everyone equally and didn't just kick equal protection in the teeth and hammer spikes into its forehead with a mallet.

Thanks for posting this chart. And I echo your sentiment.

I don't think any of them enjoyed getting trashed right to their faces.
