FINALLY AT LONG LAST

It's about time that we started cracking down on our domestic terrorists and making it plain to everybody that they are the enemy of civilization. They are no different from the Hitler's storm troopers in the years before he was elected Chancellor of Germany and they use the same terror tactics and intimidation practiced by the taliban and al qaeda.









I just saw that a FEDEX truck was stopped in St. Louis by a huge crowd of rioters and every truck driver in America knows what a bunch of rioters did to Reginald Denny and only a really stupid driver would stop so that the same thing could be done to him. The driver drove on.

TWITTER LOST ITS MIND AND SHARED REALITY

I don't know what strange thing compelled Twitter to suddenly declare war on the President of the United States but whatever it was is almost certain to doom their enterprise. Mark Twain  had something to say on the subject of making war on the wrong people and Dorsey would have done well to consider what it means to wage war with a man who can change the rules with his signature on a piece of paper any time he wants change.


Twitter may think they have some sort of lock on the business of communicating in the modern era using the modern arts but they'd be wrong.


MASKED MISBEHAVERS BEHAVING BADLY

What's a sordid police curtain of law enforcement gonna do when everyone out there on the mean streets of Columbus, Minneapolis, Saint Paul and Roseville are wearing masks while they're engaged in looting and arson? Well, oddly enough, it seems they haven't opted for gunfire yet. I suppose we'll just have to wait for the masked National Guard to open fire on a violent looty burning crowd like another election year not so long ago.

The link takes the reader to wattsupwiththat. I think it is safe to say that you can take the NAZI out of the German but you can't take the vicious unprincipled evil out of the German bureaucracy. SIGNALS IN THE AIR

Yesterday it looked like a turning moment for President Trump as he clearly hoisted his new orders.


 With his Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany in the van, Trump launched salvo after salvo at the enemies of all mankind and signaled his intent to end the ruinous and anti-democratic policies of the billionaires running the world's social media who are intent on destroying the Republic and everything it stands for as they wage a Social War against us and use any and all means of silencing the right.

I keep El Jefe on my blog roll since it is about the only time Americans get to see what their President is saying and doing because God knows the media goes out of their way to make sure that he never is heard from directly on their media. You know what I mean, they always ask some Trump hating scumbag to tell us what the President said today and that hater totally twists the clear meaning and intent of the President's words all out of recognition. Here's what he's actually saying to America.








It looks like the President is ready to take the battle into the enemy and slaughter them as he finds them. I've got the popcorn ready and I'm looking forward to round 2 as the 74 gun ships of the line edge in to smash and destroy the enemy and while he's at it, gut the social justice war machine that has seen the incorporation of the spouses of the DNC who are in all the key leadership positions in the broadcast and written media of the old school.

VIRUS HITS CLOSE TO HOME

Well the virus hit home today with a brutal blow. My barber who has been running her barbershop on Larchmere for decades, sent out an email today to all her loyal customers, some of whom still come all the way from Maine to have her cut their hair, announcing that after thinking it over she has decided not to re-open her shop. Now I have to find someone else and that's brutal after years of getting a perfect hair cut after decades of simply taking whatever resulted when clippers were waved in the vicinity of my scalp.

HYPE AND HYSTERIA

We allowed it to happen again. Just as back in the 90's there was supposedly a vast wave of pedaphelia kicked off by the McMartin pre-school fiasco and terrible hoax, we have let our models convince hysterics all over the world that a corona virus disease shared a mortality rate with the Black Plague of the 14th century in Europe where a third of the population of Europe died. As with the pedophilia nonsense, so too with the Wuhan virus. It keeps getting huge media support as they push to the limits in order to engage in virtue signaling and hopefully encompass the destruction of President Trump at the same time because they really hate that man.

What does that tell us? Well, for starters, if this virus was the product of a virology lab that was researching ways to weaponize a bat virus for use against humans, it was a dismal failure for given defintions of failure. If the purpose was to massacre the elderly and infirm occupants of nursing homes, it succeeded very well, especially when chivied along by the likes of Cuomo and Whitless and any number of other Democrat Party governors who went out of their way to ensure that the virus was introduced speedily into all nursing homes under their control.

It tells us that the science is NEVER settled and that science by consensus is a fool's game for idiots, morons and democrats who are uniquely ignorant, ill-informed, stupid, malicious, venal, corrupt and grasping power-mad tyrants who will use any disaster to enhance their power, their wealth and their prestige. They did it by scaring a lot of idiots about the weather. Even the most deeply committed idiots who believe still don't understand that NOBODY is talking about rolling back the global warming dragon. No, at most the losers-of-action are only talking about slowing the rate of increase. Either way the world ends in fire if their stupid fright about man-made global warming is true but there is just as much science behind that scam as there is behind the hysteria that demanded locking up the population and flattening some mythical curve.

What else did we learn? Well, how about there is no shortage and never was any kind of shortage of ventilators since the facts are now in and it seems if a patient gets placed on a ventilator they never recover so the ventilator doesn't really affect anything at all.

Do I think anybody will learn from this latest stupid hysteria? No, nope, never.

STUPESCENS

I read this this interesting article this morning and was struck by the trigger words used by one of the commenters who simply observed that the official motto of the local university is Christ and the Church or, as they said, "Christo et Ecclesiae." As you can see way back in the dawn of time on the country's northern shore, the educators were all profoundly convinced that to be considered educated one must be able to speak and read both latin and greek.

Then they must have seen the light, and they dropped the greek but kept the latin.



The technical college merged with Western Reserve University and they dropped the latin too although latin has long been the language of science it isn't a language engineers use and hasn't been for almost 2000 years.


They dropped Christ and the Church long ago, then the remnants of dead civilizations and now they don't use any words at all except for directions on how to find the place.

These days they figure everyone knows where it is and restrict its use to formal occasions because, as it was noted by the Board, "it is difficult to read."

It's actually a fascinating place.

REMEMBER THEM

Nobody knows all their names or the circumstances that led them to join the military and fight in our nation's wars but we set aside today to remember them. President Lincoln said it best but thousands of others have matched his words with words of their own spoken in honor of the fallen.

"Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field as a final resting-place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate — we cannot consecrate — we cannot hallow — this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. He spoke those words at Gettysburg and the people there so little remembered his speech that most never recalled what he said. He wrote it down though.

When so many in and out of government are twisting the meaning of the words that founded this country and which men and women lived, fought and died for, it is hard sometimes to remember that what we have is worth fighting for and if it comes to it, dying for.

COUNTED AMONG THE ELECT

On Nov 13, 2010, Lt. General John Kelly, USMC, gave a speech to the Semper Fi Society of St. Louis, MO. This was four days after his son, Lt Robert Kelly, USMC, was killed by an IED while on his 3rd Combat tour. During his speech, General Kelly spoke about the dedication and valor of our young men and women who step forward each and every day to protect us.


During the speech, he never mentioned the loss of his own son. He closed the speech with the moving account of the last six seconds in the lives of two young Marines who died with rifles blazing to protect their brother Marines.


"I will leave you with a story about the kind of people they are, about the quality of the steel in their backs, about the kind of dedication they bring to our country while they serve in uniform and forever after as veterans.


Two years ago when I was the Commander of all U.S. and Iraqi forces, in fact, the 22 ND of April 2008, two Marine infantry battalions, 1/9 "The  Walking Dead," and 2/8 were switching out in Ramadi. One battalion in the closing days of their deployment going home very soon, the other just starting its seven-month combat tour.


Two Marines, Corporal Jonathan Yale and Lance Corporal Jordan Haerter, 22 and 20 years old respectively, one from each battalion, were assuming the watch together at the entrance gate of an outpost that contained a makeshift barracks housing 50 Marines. The same broken down ramshackle building was also home to 100 Iraqi police, also my men and our allies in the fight against the terrorists in Ramadi, a city until recently the most dangerous city on earth and owned by Al Qaeda.


Yale was a dirt poor mixed-race kid from Virginia with a wife and daughter, and a mother and sister who lived with him and whom he supported as well. He did this on a yearly salary of less than $23,000.


Haerter, on the other hand, was a middle class white kid from Long Island. They were from two completely different worlds. Had they not joined the Marines they would never have met each other, or understood that multiple America's exist simultaneously depending on one's race, education level, economic status, and where you might have been born.


But they were Marines, combat Marines, forged in the same crucible of Marine training, and because of this bond they were brothers as close, or closer, than if they were born of the same woman.


The mission orders they received from the sergeant squad leader I am sure went something like, "Okay you two clowns, stand this post and let no unauthorized personnel or vehicles pass. You clear?"


I am also sure Yale and Haerter then rolled their eyes and said in unison something like, "Yes Sergeant," with just enough attitude that made the point without saying the words, "No kidding ‘sweetheart’, we know what we're doing."


They then relieved two other Marines on watch and took up their post at the entry control point of Joint Security Station Nasser, in the Sophia section of Ramadi, Al Anbar, Iraq.


A few minutes later a large blue truck turned down the alley way - perhaps 60-70 yards in length, and sped its way through the serpentine of concrete jersey walls. The truck stopped just short of where the two were posted and detonated, killing them both catastrophically. Twenty-four brick masonry houses were damaged or destroyed. A mosque 100 yards away collapsed. The truck's engine came to rest two hundred yards away knocking most of a house down before it stopped.


Our explosive experts reckoned the blast was made of 2,000 pounds of explosives.  Two died, and because these two young infantrymen didn't have it in their DNA to run from danger, they saved 150 of their Iraqi and American brothers-in-arms.


When I read the situation report about the incident a few hours after it happened I called the regimental commander for details as something about this struck me as different.


Marines dying or being seriously wounded is commonplace in combat. We expect Marines regardless of rank or MOS to stand their ground and do their duty, and even die in the process, if that is what the mission takes. But this just seemed different.


The regimental commander had just returned from the site and he agreed, but reported that there were no American witnesses to the event - just Iraqi police. I figured if there was any chance of finding out what actually happened and then to decorate the two Marines to acknowledge their bravery, I'd have to do it as a combat award that requires two eye-witnesses and we figured the bureaucrats back in Washington would never buy Iraqi statements. If it had any chance at all, it had to come under the signature of a general officer.


I traveled to Ramadi the next day and spoke individually to a half-dozen Iraqi police all of whom told the same story.  The blue truck turned down into the alley and immediately sped up as it made its way through the serpentine. They all said, "We knew immediately what was going on as soon as the two Marines began firing."


The Iraqi police then related that some of them also fired, and then to a man,  ran for safety just prior to the explosion. All survived.  Many were injured, some seriously. One of the Iraqis elaborated and with tears welling up said, "They'd run like any normal man would to save his life." "What he didn't know until then," he said, "And what he learned that very instant, was that Marines are not normal."


Choking past the emotion he said, "Sir, in the name of God no sane man would have stood there and done what they did." "No sane man." "They saved us all."


What we didn't know at the time, and only learned a couple of days later after I wrote a summary and submitted both Yale and Haerter for posthumous Navy Crosses, was that one of our security cameras, damaged initially in the blast, recorded some of the suicide attack. It happened exactly as the Iraqis had described it. It took exactly six seconds from when the truck entered the alley until it detonated.


You can watch the last six seconds of their young lives. Putting myself in their heads I supposed it took about a second for the two Marines to separately come to the same conclusion about what was going on once the truck came into their view at the far end of the alley. Exactly no time to talk it over, or call the sergeant to ask what they should do. Only enough time to take half an instant and think about what the sergeant told them to do only a few minutes before, "Let no unauthorized personnel or vehicles pass." The two Marines had about five seconds left to live.


It took maybe another two seconds for them to present their weapons, take aim, and open up. By this time the truck was half-way through the barriers and gaining speed the whole time.  Here, the recording shows a number of Iraqi police, some of whom had fired their AKs, now scattering like the normal and rational men they were - some running right past the Marines. They had three seconds left to live.


For about two seconds more, the recording shows the Marines' weapons firing non-stop the truck's windshield exploding into shards of glass as their rounds take it apart and tore in to the body of the (I deleted) who is trying to get past them to kill their brothers - American and Iraqi-bedded down in the barracks totally unaware of the fact that their lives at that moment depended entirely on two Marines standing their ground.


If they had been aware, they would have known they were safe because two Marines stood between them and a crazed suicide bomber. The recording shows the truck careening to a stop immediately in front of the two  Marines. In all of the instantaneous violence Yale and Haerter never hesitated. By all reports and by the recording, they never stepped back. They never even started to step aside. They never even shifted their weight. With their feet spread shoulder width apart, they leaned into the danger, firing as fast as they could work their weapons. They had only one second left to live.


The truck explodes. The camera goes blank. Two young men go to their God. Six seconds. Not enough time to think about their families, their country, their flag, or about their lives or their deaths, but more than enough time for two very brave young men to do their duty into eternity. That is the kind of people who are on watch all over the world tonight - for you.


We Marines believe that God gave America the greatest gift he could bestow to man while he lived on this earth - freedom. We also believe he gave us another gift nearly as precious - our soldiers, sailors, airmen, U S Customs and Border Patrol, Coast Guardsmen, and Marines - to safeguard that gift and guarantee no force on this earth can ever steal it away.


It has been my distinct honor to have been with you here today. Rest assured our America, this experiment in democracy started over two centuries ago, will forever remain the "land of the free and home of the  brave" so long as we never run out of tough young Americans who are willing to look beyond their own self-interest and comfortable lives, and go into the darkest and most dangerous places on earth to hunt down, and kill, those who would do us harm.

CITIZENS AS PREY

This article from the New York Post establishes the government's position on Americans as citizens or denizens in the state of New York. They're prey animals to be fed on and sucked dry of life and wealth at the whim of a merciless bureaucracy devoted exclusively to squeezing the blood out of those unfortunate enough to dwell there.
City building inspectors are running speed trap-style operations to catch contractors violating a coronavirus ban on “non-essential” construction work — and to slap homeowners with maximum, $10,000 fines, The Post has learned.
A Department of Buildings inspector spent at least 45 minutes Tuesday morning staked out at the intersection that leads to the ritzy Douglas Manor neighborhood in northwestern Queens. 
“I’m an elevator guy normally but they got us all doing this now,” the inspector told The Post. 
With the road traffic down due to the government ordering everybody but your actual criminals to be locked up in perpetuity, they are losing gobs of revenue $ they usually soak up from speeding tickets and parking violations so they have to find other ways to pay the governor's salary and came up with the idea of making everything a crime. 

I'm familiar with the term 'oxygen thieves' but I saw a new one an hour ago; flightless mosquitos. I think that sounds far more appropriate for the kind of bureaucrat who devotes his life to going out of his or her way to screw over the ordinary people and workers. George Orwell really nailed the performance of the people and government in times like this with both his books, Animal Farm and 1984. He really knew his government bureaucrats and what kind of bloodsuckers they inevitably turn into when left to metastasize and marinate in the dark.

Kids, if you really want to make money and do little to no actual work for it, get a job with the city, county or state bureaucracy and stay there for the lifetime pension and benefits that are triple what the little people who don't work for government make. Or, you could invent something really cool and have google buy it from you for millions of dollars. The first one is a sure thing up until the Revolution then all bets are off.

MID WEEK CARTOONS

Not really. There will be some at the end but up front I'd like to say how pleased I am that Americans and most of the judges seem to find the arbitrary actions of the various Health Nazis, Governors and police to be unconstitutional, unjustified and unjustifiable. It looks like some of the states out the gate early are just leading the rush to freedom and America as it was. I wish my barber would join the rest but she has decided to delay her reopening to suit herself. It could just mean that they snuck into Massachusetts and are content to stay in their beach chalet for another month or two. I find the idea of 'sneaking' into Massachusetts to be ludicrous but then I don't have a beach chalet there.

HONEY BADGER IN THE PRESS ROOM

I had to laugh when I saw this from The Babylon Bee.


What makes it hilarious is that the White House correspondents shower have been moaning and complaining for months that they no longer get fed the news by the press secretary but have to hear it from the President himself during his scores of unscripted free-for-all impromptu press conferences and no longer had the chance to snipe at the press secretary who they have long believed lives in fear of them. Yes, very funny.

She started stripping them of their faux dignity and upright moral posture the moment she stepped into the room. Losers.



They literally had no idea that she is about 40 times smarter than all of them put together.

NO SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVILS

All I hear about these days is the give and take of various pundits and wankers chatting about various states of the Union clinging for dear life to fascism while the other half are clinging for dear life to the Constitution and the principles that underlay the founding of the Republic. I'm not a replanted Californian by any means but I did live there off and on for about 30 years until I retired from the Navy and moved to the midwest. I like it here. I liked it there but here in Ohio we still have most of the freedoms our ancestors fought for and that we fought to maintain even as the people swirl down the drain in cesspools like Californiastan, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania where they voted for democrats, to their everliving sorrow.

By their actions you will know them for what they really are. Of late they've been letting the mask slip a bit but democrats, all of them, believe that all power belongs to the State and that citizens serve the State. The rest of us may loathe the spineless rethuglican party but that's about the only game reserve that still has the occasional Bull Moose who knows what this country really does stand for and really doesn't believe that the Constitution is a living document that can be interpreted into a pretzel by the right kind of lawyers and judges.

I don't really feel any sympathy for the people going under in the democratic party controlled dictatorships, people's republics, states because they voted the straight democratic ticket at every election for the last 30 years and flushed civilization down the drain. Anybody watching the numbers for any tragic statitistic can see that where democrats rule they bring nothing but ruin, racial strife/hatred and fascism. Everywhere they rule with their compliant courts, compliant police thugs, compliant judges and compliant legislators, the people lay down, some might even say they kowtow to their undisputed rulers, except for the ones that pack up and leave and unfortunately too many of them bring the ruination with them because they still vote the straight democratic ticket and a word to the wise, there is no difference between a New York democrat and a California democrat and the same thing applies to democrats everywhere. They all want total control over you, your family, your pay, your job,  your children, education, taxes, etc.

So democratic state governments won't permit or allow business to reopen because now they daren't risk anybody else dying of a virus. Do you know how many viral diseases we have cured? None. We vaccinated the entire world to wipe out smallpox but that wasn't so much a cure as burning down its house and sewing the ground with salt. When you wonder what the democrats are doing bumbling around telling us it is too dangerous to go outside to play or go out to a restaurant, keep this hideous truth at the forefront of your thinking and wonder why people are letting the democrats destroy lives and livelihoods because all of those nasty things are still roaming around out there and always will be. We don't hide from them, do we?

Medal of Honor recipient and former Green Beret Staff Sgt. Ronald Shurer II died May 14 in Washington, D.C., after a long fight with lung cancer. He was 41.

His death was announced by the Army and the Secret Service, where he had worked since leaving the Army in 2009.

Army Chief of Staff General James McConville called Staff Sergeant Shurer his hero.

“Every generation has its heroes and Medal of Honor recipient, Staff Sergeant (R) Ron Shurer is one of mine,” McConville wrote on Twitter and Facebook. “I’m heartbroken at Ron’s passing. He was a humble warrior who put others before himself. I join every member of the Army team in wishing the Shurer Family my deepest sympathies.”

Staff Sergeant Shurer was awarded the Medal of Honor on Oct. 1, 2018, for his actions on April 6, 2008, in Afghanistan to save members of his detachment of Green Berets and Afghan commandos.

He had first been awarded a Silver Star, but after a Pentagon review of all awards and medals for actions in combat following 9/11, it was upgraded to the Medal of Honor.

Staff Sergeant Shurer was the only medic with Operational Detachment Alpha 3336, which was assigned a mission to capture or kill members of the Hezb-e-Islami group. Almost immediately after being dropped off, they were ambushed on a mountainside in Shok Valley by some 200 Islamic militant fighters. There were casualties, whoStaff Sergeant Shurer treated as he moved up the mountain to where the rest of the American fighters were pinned down.

Staff Sergeant Shurer “took off through a hail of bullets and began scaling the rock face to get to the casualties,” his citation says. He treated one U.S. soldier who had been struck in the neck by shrapnel from a rocket-propelled grenade, then continued several hundred meters more over the next hour, under fire, killing insurgents along the way to reach the site of the ambush.

Staff Sergeant Shurer is credited with treating four critically wounded American soldiers and 10 Afghan commandos. He was shot in the helmet and arm but continued moving through heavy fire to provide treatment to casualties over more than five hours.

Wounded himself, Staff Sergeant Shurer continued to treat others and then directed their evacuation down a steep cliff, President Donald Trump said at the White House Medal of Honor ceremony that included other survivors of the mission, including two Afghan translators.

“Ron raced to each patient, giving them lifesaving care,” President Trump said, noting Shurer did not stop there. “He charged back to the mountain, going all the way up, and then rejoined the fight."

“We stand in awe of your father’s courage,” Trump said, addressing Shurer’s sons, Cameron and Tyler, who watched the ceremony with their mother, Miranda. “Ron bravely faced down the enemy. Not a single American died in that brutal battle, thanks in great measure to Ron’s heroic actions.”

During the ceremony, President Trump also noted that Shurer had been diagnosed with lung cancer the year before. “He’s been fighting it every single day with courage and with strength, just like he faced every single battle in his life.”

Shurer, who was a member of the Association of the U.S. Army, had been pursuing a master’s degree at Washington State University when 9/11 happened, and he decided to join the military. After leaving the Army, Shurer went to work for the Secret Service as an agent in Phoenix, then became part of a presidential protection tactical team in the Washington, D.C., office in 2014.

In a May 14 tweet, the Secret Service said, “Today, we lost an American Hero: Husband, Father, Son, Medal of Honor Recipient—Special Agent Ronald J. Shurer II. From a grateful Nation and Agency—your  memory and legacy will live on forever. Rest In Peace.”

FIGHTING FOR AMERICA

I won't excerpt the open letter written by Sidney Powell since it is only a single page of rather concentrated venom directed at Obama and well worth your time to read. It outlines the very egregious and outrageous misconduct carried out by the unconvicted felons at the FBI, DOJ and White House during Obama's presidency and after as they fought to tear down General Flynn and launch a coup d'etat against President Trump.

I find it hard to believe Attorney General Barr didn't throw McCabe in front of a Grand Jury and then subject him to trial and jail which he richly deserves.

I think in spite of all that Victor Davis Hanson wrote here at American Greatness, our fellow Americans aren't going to believe a single word of anything said against the people that were running the State and the various Intelligence and Law Enforcement agencies under Obama. History will record it well and hopefully far more accurately than it recorded the true history of Richard Nixon. A Final Thought on Obama 
Add up Michael Horowitz’s inspector general’s report. Review the wreckage of the Mueller investigation. Collate the evidence that Christopher Steele was an utter fraud and dupe. Remember that Hillary Clinton destroyed her hard drives and communication devices, that the FBI liquidated hundreds of text messages of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, and that Christopher Steele destroyed all his emails and data about “Russian sources.” 
Compute in the new discoveries that all the principles who fueled the “collusion” hoax had long ago, when pressed in secret and under congressional oath, confessed they had no evidence for the lies they spread in the media. Recall the pseudo-summaries of Susan Rice to whitewash an Oval Office session. Then, finish off these revelations with the reality that Barack Obama was always privy at best, and at worst orchestrating the effort to destroy a presidential campaign and transition. And where does it all lead? 
To the unendurable truth that a sitting president unleashed his intelligence agencies to warp an election, feigned ignorance of his central role, and yet finally was so furious about the winner that he sought to sabotage his successor’s transition and, by association, his presidency. 
How could the media, Silicon Valley, Wall Street, the bureaucratic state, academia, and entertainment ever process that reality: that a deity was likely the most corrupt president in a generation?
They will simply refuse to believe it or accept it or tolerate any discussion that contradicts their view of history and the people who made it happen. Anything contrary to their cherished desires will disappear just like all the people that had dirt on the Clintons. The rewriting of history has begun.

TRUTHSEEKING, FINALLY

I saw this yesterday. It is profoundly true.


Weirdly, as President and Commander-in-Chief, he can order anything declassified and it isn't really subject to review. When he tells the Agencies he now has his appointees in charge of to pony up the information they have, that's it. There will be the now typical foot dragging by the deep state losers still in positions at the levers but this isn't one of those times that they can turn to the Courts to save them.

Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to it. The hell with an October Surprise. Let's start now. There's a lot of ground to cover and you have a captive audience until they release themselves from government inflicted jail.

WADING THROUGH FOG

I wonder how many people are slowly beginning to comprehend what it is to live in a world with unreliable information inputs. Some people, you know the ones wearing tinfoil bonnets, believe that the government knows everything and doesn't share the truth out of spite. A lot of them know people who work in government and many of them think those people are clowns or idiots and yet they believe that their friend or relative is in a position to know the truth. Kind of silly when you think about it.

What you get when you sit at any information nexus in the government whether it be in research and development, military intelligence, national intelligence, diplomatic intelligence, economic intelligence, is a welter of data from a vast number of sources which over time you and your predecessors have been winnowing down to the handful of inputs considered reliable and timely. We sort of weed out the people who have a gullibility factor on par with a national news correspondent. If we wanted garbage input we'd pick up the Washington Post or New York Times and read it alongside the far more reliable sources like the tabloid press you see in the supermarket checkout lane.

I've always been interested in the idea that there is an illuminati that knows all things and also has the power to suppress information.. I'm watching the latter in action  now every day as the media overtly scrambles to ignore the story about Biden being accused of some non-crime from 24 years in the past because they think it may do what? Ditto the story about charges being dropped against General Flynn. Maybe now we could talk about how irrational it is to pay any attention whatsoever to some dingbat leaping out of the wordwork with a tale of woe to tell about something that evidently didn't raise to the level of a crime 24 years ago?

SENTENCED TO CONFINEMENT

It is getting more and more ridiculous and less and less credible as the weeks go by and the various organs and forces of the government keep the entire population in lockdown. You know where that term comes from? I think it comes from what the prison warden orders when the prisoners get uppity. You know, when they think there's going to be a fight. I kind of see the shadows at play here and it does kind of surprise me. The man taken for a fool by every single pilgrim on the left, believes to the core of their being, that President Trump is an idiot. And yet, he keeps playing the matador and they cannot help but play the bull and lunge at the cape he waves it in front of them.

There's a couple of rooms full of President Trump's men and women who are carefully noting every single thing that will discredit every sitting democratic office holder at both the national and the state level and it will be used for something a little more gory that the traditional finish to the badly wounded and winded bull. It's almost as if President Trump was setting the stage, like a matador for instance. His men are vilely slandered by the democrats and the media and while he stands up for them like a soldier he also slams the picador's lance home with his tweets and pronouncements every day.

And the democrats can't resist. It's like all they see is the red cape and never ever the sword.

I haven't truly been paying attention. Here in metroparkcentralis we have a Republican governor, a former attorney general as a matter of fact. A man familiar with the LAW. There is no blanket stay at home law here or in the towns and cities and people pretty much do what they can still do because yes, there have been some concessions to the pandemic and so the restaurants are semi-closed. They have a fairly booming take-out service now which, oddly given this is Ohio, extends even to people phoning and faxing in orders for beer and wine to go. Unheard of!

Yea, Ohio is one of those weird exotic states that treats the sale of spirits as a great matter and of importance to the State and so we have state stores. Guess what else is open and never closed except during normal closing hours? That's right, the State's liquor monopoly will go on since no bootleggers are liable to flourish here. Most of the other stores are open but some are deemed nonessential although exactly why that would matter if the material cause for shutting down any store didn't apply to all stores is beyond me. It would take a fucling idiot to explain the reasoning that says some stores are safe to be in and others are not.

So the libraries and bookstores are closed. I'm only guessing about the bookstores. We haven't been near one in months. I'm not sure if the libraries are closed by government order or an excess of caution because of the models used by the 'experts' to determine where people are vulnerable to the Wuhan Flu or just because they're government workers and I'm willing to bet they still get paid even if they sit at home playing nintendo. As an aside, I have never played nintendo.

As any fool can see, the people on this continent started a war against the most powerful empire in the world with these words of dissent. You might think it would trouble those people currently holding public office that they are so cavalierly in violation of most of them and have taken actions and seized an authority incompatible with the form of government we accepted after we kicked the British Empires butt.

From the same helpful people and website at ushistory.org one can find many laudable documents that carefully proscribe the powers of the government. And yet as you read them here in the twilight of democracy in America it is hard to come to terms with the outrageous evil and incompetence that has decreed that none of them are fit for the study of pupils in our public schools. I doubt they are even mentioned or reviewed or tested in the 'common core fiasco imposed on us by administrators in Washington DC.'

There are however, a few that I think are worth reviewing. I doubt any person under the age of 40 could answer the simple question; What is The Bill of Rights? I doubt one in a hundred could actually write all 10 of them down without peaking. That was a hint. There are 10 amendments in the Bill of Rights. Let's review.

Amendment I

Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II

Right to bear arms
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment VI

Right to a fair trial
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Amendment VII

Rights in civil cases
In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Bail, fines, punishment
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX

Rights retained by the People
The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X

States' rights

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I think some might agree that the first president and Congress to start totally screwing this noble idea up was Lincoln. He basically went berserk and crazy and Congress let him get away with it. A review of the estimable website at US History link goes straight to Lincoln's disregard for the Constitution. There is a long history since at least Lincoln of shameful contempt for the Constitution by the President, the Congress and the Courts and the courts are really out of control and really need to be reminded just who is running this country and it aint them.

So anyway, back to the point I was making at the outset. President Trump has people (I'm pretty sure they're 'his' people, not those idiots at the RNC), taking note of the hysterical actions, reactions and non-actions of every current democrat in office and I suspect they are going to look with disdain and disfavor on the dismal shower of shite when it becomes time to unload them from the body politic. I suspect his people will be swift in sending full details to the candidates President Trump is most in favor of running against the pathetic and sad incumbents this Fall.

There are enough ignorant, nay stupid idiotic morons out there that they won't care if it is pointed out that their incumbent sentenced them to confinement even as the forces of law and order were turning thousands and thousands of vicious criminals loose on them even as the same miserable scum were ordering all the gun stores to be closed because of a virus. On the coasts and a few other notably stupid places, the people, the sheep, won't care and will still stick with their "man in office".

You know how I can tell this is so? Right here in metroparkcentralis in a house located across the street from 3 public schools and a street where every house not occupied by a physician is occupied by a professor at one of the local universities, my next door neighbor has a BIDEN sign proudly posted in their front yard. How can any sane person think Biden is even remotely credible to be president? It's crazy. I know they hate and despise Trump but he was a businessman and a true friend to everyone as he built and ran a billion dollar business for decades before being voted into office.

What did Biden ever accomplish in his life other than bamboozle the voters and fondle women and children? It's enough to make you sick that people so blinded by hatred would rather vote for him than any other candidate. I can understand hating Trump if you are a pig-blind idiot and moron and what I feel for Biden is not hatred or contempt. It is sadness that a man so pathetically lost to reality and obviously out of control because he's losing his mind is being propped up by his wife and the democratic party as the real evil thugs sit in the various estates and latifundia around the land and around the world and work out who should be his vice president to take over almost immediately on January 30th when they've had time to convince their pet doctors and psychs that Biden is not mentally fit to hold office and must be replaced immediately by THEIR CANDIDATE. Theirs, not yours. Not mine. THEIRS.

I am keeping a watching brief on the events of the past couple of days and it is more than disturbing that those who believed or thought that General Flynn was guilty continue to believe it in the face of the evidence being squeezed out of the scum at the Justice Department. Despite evidence written by their own hands by the officials who criminally abused an honorable citizen, what I see and read is people are not just turning their eyes from the truth but are jamming their fingers in their ears and screaming to keep themselves or anybody else from hearing the news.

I keep expecting the world to go up in flames. I never really thought it would before now but it's looking more and more likely. Europe has spent the last 5 years turning itself inside out and now we're doing it too. I watched the neocons spend years trying to get us to bristle up against China and for years the incumbent president was so deep in China's pocket he never saw the light of day during his eight years in office and would never dream of imposing any barriers to China's ambitious plans to recreate an empire that would dominate Asia and then Africa and then the Pacific.....  Poor neocons.

They probably really thought they had a chance when President Trump took office and unfortunately for them, they're a bunch of prissy know-it-all schoolboy types who never let people like Trump play in their little reindeer games and were sure their man would win office and so maligned the living hell out of the man, his family, his ambitions, his past, everything really. Poor neocons.

I can't wait for the flash of his sword as he starts using it with more deadly purpose now that he has shown Americans the Bullshit and is starting to make people notice that it was not the Federal government that put people in lockdown against their will, that sent heavily armed police to chase down, arrest and drag off to jail people out for a walk on the beach. It was the democrats by and large. I hope they pay for it. And I earnestly hope that every single slimy bastard who was complicit in manufacturing the charges and case against General Flynn and the Mueller investigation goes to jail for decades. That was nothing but a slightly varnished coup d'etat and it came within inches of unseating a sitting President as demonstrated by the House of Representatives who were stupid enough to impeach on a strict party line vote. Kind of like how now everyone affected by the Obama Care Act voted for by the House on a strict party line vote, is coming into effect and people in a pandemic are going to lose their health insurance.

If Republicans fail to sweep them out of office there is indeed something very wrong with the education system in this country and home-schooling should really get a serious look by parents and the rest of the nation because it would be damned hard for the State or the Board of Education to make any decrees about how home-schooling is somehow incompatible with educating children after parents have spent the last 3 months doing it at home because the schools were closed.

It will be curious to see what "bloody shirt" is swept out over the ramparts as they try to blame anyone else for their own policy fallacies. I don't think there's any chance of a Wag The Dog ending to this tale. Nope.
