We celebrated Halloween with a couple of fire pits in the front yard at the neighbors and about 20 bottles of wine. The neighborhood kids came and went, their parents stuck around for the food and wine. It was a nice and spooky evening.

MORE BOWING AND SCRAPING
This one was pretty good. Our Washington correspondent reported seeing the Pope taking a lap at the Rotunda of the Smithsonian Natural History Museum but was unable to get any pictures. These are from the Daily Mail. I don't know why all the best and most accurate news in America comes from the British press but I'd be ashamed to work for our media of the lame stream.
