MIZZOU AND YALE SUPPRESS COUNTERREVOLUTIONARIES

Do you also get the sense that higher education these days deserves itself? Watching the contemptible fracas at both Missouri State and Yale is sickening but, fortunately, we don't watch the news. There are some people who must question how the college campus reached the poor state it seems to enjoy in so many states. It must also be obvious to the observant how it made it to its current nadir.

Nadir is an interesting word. It defines the lowest point. About the only place I used to run across it was in celestial navigation and even then, we didn't much care for the lowest point, we were looking for the sun's or moon's zenith. Some colleges and universities are still on a downward spiral in search of their nadir. They self-programmed for nadir seeking behavior a long time ago.

They built intolerance and stupidity on a solid liberal foundation of contempt for western society, western history, western philosophy and they let the lunatics in the College of Arts and Sciences run the asylums. They live on the continued myth that a man needs a college degree to get ahead and will accept a 4 year indoctrination into social justice mores in lieu of an actual college academic experience that expands the mind, increases knowledge and advances the social frontiers. The students are not getting that at every former center for academic learning.

It looks like men have figured that out and college admissions of young men have shrunk dramatically. I don't know what motivates the rest to continue to go unless they are motivated to get degrees from the College of Engineering. If they're truly clever they might restrict their dating to other students from the school of engineering and begin carving out a life free of the annoyance of the monstrous demands of the social justice crowd.

I did watch the two videos of the Yale Self-Criticism and Extended Verbal Torture of one of its professors who had the unmitigated gall to support the words his wife committed to paper on the merits of letting young people be a little outrageously dressed on Halloween and its counterpart video of a student videographer being assailed by a Professor of Harpy Studies at Mizzou who demanded he leave and told him he had no right to be there and went further to demand that bigger, beefier, dumber people throw him out.

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. And so they are.
