DID YOUR EVER ARM YOURSELF

And step outside to confront somebody who was eliciting sounds of distress from a girl only to find that she was willing and you were an embarrassment?

I'll still be there, somewhat embarrassed, shoving the gun back into my pocket and more and more certain that I am missing out on something. I find that I can live with that.

I want you to envision it. I would not have showed up save for the loud nononononono. And I'm not going away until the hands are off and there is physical separation and I can tell that there is no duress.

Having doubled any embarrassment, I go back inside. I remember once on Grape Street. Girlish screams. 12 guys in the street a minute later with bats, shotguns, a .45 and it was just an, "oops, did we bother you?"

'Making things harder than they have to be.'

Yep, BTDT. Don't know who was more frightened her, him or me. She was crying, he was pleading and I was pissed off. Some joke.

It doesn't happen where I live now but Solana Beach was almost as interesting in this regard as living in Pacific Beach.
