U.S. Companies Are Stashing $2.1 Trillion Overseas to Avoid Taxes.
The government is going to get their money by hook or by crook. Apple will be forced to spend tens of millions of dollars on lawyers to keep alive the dream that this is not a total police state; which is one way of forcing Apple to bring it's ill gotten revenues back to this country where they can be used by the EPA to poison rivers, shut down electrical generation and slash jobs in a single minded effort to gut the economy.
The development comes as the Justice Department pushes its legal fight against Apple, urging a federal judge to compel the tech giant to help the FBI crack open an iPhone left behind by yet another muslim terrorist freely imported by the government.
I wonder if Apple is looking at what it would take to "offshore" itself like so many other formerly American companies tired of the overreaching Federal bureaucrats and their incessant demands.
Imagine how great this country would be if the federal government stopped having an agenda and left that to the people.
