I remember once sailing up a river. The water rushed by very nicely but I never seemed to move up river. The sails drove the boat just about exactly as fast as the current flowing downstream. It was really frustrating. :)
Not me this time, but it should have been. That looks like Norway, and one can easily imagine being on a long boat and heading out down that fjord on the way to England, France or Ireland to pillage. ;-)
When sailing against the current there is no foe to keep you from doing as you will except, the current. I could have sworn I got it from your fine place.
