ICONIC PICTURES OF THE 21ST CENTURY

100 iconic photos of the century so far. They missed a few but all were good.

It's hard to believe it has only been 14 years. It feels longer.

Oh, it was a baguette. I thought he was defending with an umbrella.
Great photos. I experienced time inflation - deflation? - too.

Yeah, it does seem a lot longer than 13+ years, especially after looking at those pics.

It has gone by day by day and more than a few were in this mix that won't make it in the larger world's recall of the century to date but then I like the mellow chords and there is room enough elsewhere for the remembrance of other days. When I was young I thought we'd be all over space.

I don't think I could do a 100 pics to date of the century. I'd be all over the map. It's hard to believe that 13 years of war still hasn't quite come to an end and yet the end is going to be such a bitter one. All those tomorrows traded for the return to the status quo and 8th century barbarism.
It's easy to say that this is what the people wanted. I agree....but only in this paradigm. In the next age we're going to see a bastion which doesn't really care about what the people want. We'll just kill the ones who misbelieve what we insist they want. The rise of the Drones.
We can now kill without measure the warlords we do not like and the Americans have been acculturated to the idea that warlords are evil and killing them is our right.
George Washington was a warlord.
If George III had serious killer drones, the world would be a vastly different place.
