One of my peers, who happens to be a lawyer and professor at a Law School, wrote this:
POSTCARDS FROM VENEZUELA: “The guardsmen beat them with their fists and the butts of their rifles, taking away their personal belongings before setting fire to the car.” If I lived in Venezuela, I’d find out where the guardsmen lived, and shoot them when they walked out the door in the morning. That is, of course, the proper response to dictators and their minions of every stripe, even Hollywood-backed socialists.
People who lost the right to bear arms got to take long train trips to oblivion. There's almost no difference between thugs who would abrogate your existing rights and ones that will put you on the train.

  1. Or behind the ear when he's mowing the front lawn on Sat morning w. a power mower and can't hear you coming up behind..

    1. In my experience (50) years, Socialists don't mow their own lawns. They hire illegals to do it for them.

    2. True enough, Curtis, I guess I was thinking of all the retired O-6s like you that had ticked me off.. :)

    3. I spent the last 2 decades doing counter-surveillance. I use a 'real' mower and push the quiet beast myself. I admit, it's trickier than it used to be when I kept one hand for the ship, one for me, one for the gun. Now I have to keep one hand on the mower too, but I dropped the ship. :)

It's kind of liberating. There's no engine, no electric cord, no gas, no 2 stroke oil. OTOH, it's a small yard front and back. Plus, I live across the street from an elementary school so you just no it's a gun free zone. :)
