Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Memorial Day. We all reached this point in history thanks to the sacrifices of many soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen starting a long time ago.
I prefer to think of them all as drinking, carousing, reading, and waiting until the ones they are waiting for show up. It's not religion anymore though. There was a lot to say for standing a watch on the bridge but not in the fire rooms or the machinery spaces or even CIC.
