A HELP

Does my blog require you to do anything at all when you post a reply? If so, please let me know so I can find some way to turn it off.

I sometimes write comments on other peoples blogs and get sent down a rat hole of stupid stuff to fill out and I really intend that not for people that would comment here.

There are literally no restrictions I know about for commenting here but I suspect glogsport has outguessed me.

Nothing special about trying to comment. Just had to us my blogger account.

I've never commented here using anything but my Google (read Blogger, same same) account. No rat holes, no third degree. Sometimes at my place anonymous commenters get strip searched by Blogger though I have all of that crap turned off. A colleague of mine from Okinawa tells me that he cannot comment at all, seems Safari Version 12 and Blogger are not on speaking terms.

I suspect some unknown glitch in Blogger's interface. I won't attribute any of this to nefarious purposes because, as I like to say, "Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity." But to be fair, sometimes it's both - mes deux centimes.

I can comment with one of my google accts and not so much with the other...??? I suspect OldAFSarge is right about Blogger's interface.

Thanks, it is seriously a weird feeling turning off all the machinations only to see that still there are 'necessary' hoops to jump through just to post in response. I meant for it for anybody.

It can be most irritating. I remember the last time blogger pissed me off I tried to log into my blog from Inchon airport and the system refused to connect over and over.
I thought I turned all of that crap off.

I'm using Safari so that probably explains a lot.

I do remember our friend who was constantly at war with myseql databased vengeance against people like us. Lex was always building things in the background. Me, not so much.

Thank you. At the rate they're going I might have some tihinking to do. This place was always, from the beginning a place for my little pilot to see what dad thought about stuff. She thinks she is fully fledged right about now and there is little use in saying no from this far away. I think she will be flying away soon. I find it interesting how the nephews linger long long at home and the little girls don't.

Thank you for helping me out.

And now I go to fire up a 20 year old computer to have a look from the dos side.

I have to log into my Google Account, but that is all.

I have to enter my Google account.

I figured it was something like that. I usually go online to blog and so the first thing I do (well actually, the computer remembers to do) is log in. It's automatic because I never turn off the machine. Armed and ready as it were. I really dislike the conniptions one is forced to go through to see a blog at some places and perhaps this is the case with mine.

DRAT!
