A piece of art I find remarkable. From

“Memorial for Unborn Children/The Child Who Was Never Born” sculpted by Martin Hudáček from Slovakia. |
We no longer see this kind of thing here in the West where art seems to have disappeared down the rabbit holes of mediocrity and outrage.

Breaks my heart every time I see it.
Brilliant work, the idea behind it should devastate certain folks, but it won't.
What I despise about modern art and really anything after the '20's is that it is cold and leaves the viewer undisturbed and indifferent beyond a mild distaste for the waste of time and materials. Real art moves the soul.
Somewhere there is an artist working in the medium of their choice making a masterwork showing what is going to happen to all the churchmen and priests that abused children here on earth. That piece should be displayed in every church in the world. It would be like the giant signs on flight decks warning BEWARE OF JET BLAST PROPS AND ROTORS except it would warn the kids to beware of priests.
