CHANCELLOR OF THE FREE WORLD
Angela Merkel made it as Time Magazine's Thug of the Year with this quote, according to The Independent, “In many regions war and terror prevail. States disintegrate. For many years we have read about this. We have heard about it. We have seen it on TV. But we had not yet sufficiently understood that what happens in Aleppo and Mosul can affect Essen or Stuttgart. We have to face that now.” The Independent clearly left off her final words on the subject, "now that I've imported their war, savagery, and appreciation for islamic terrorism into Germany."
How odd that they left that out.

Merkel is an utter catastrophe for Germany. Her whim and disregard for the Law turned a respected and more or less well-functioning nation of laws into a banana republic.
Forget the polls stating that more or less half of all Germans approve Merkel's autocratic ways; people here in Germany are scared to speak their mind, since non-refutable slurs like "racist!", "nazi!", "islamophobe!" are peddled by the state-sponsored media, some people lost their jobs over things such as postings on the internet, and the state-sponsored jackboots of the Left (Google: "Antifa Übergriffe Deutschland") are eager to intimidate all decent and law-abiding citizens in Germany who are willing to exercise their right to demonstrate against the state of affairs.
And: Do not rely on the english edition of "Spiegel online" for information about Germany; that's a left-wing outfit, as well.
Time Magazine lost its relevance long ago. Merkel is a disaster for Germany and a disaster for Europe.
