I've always been a sucker for maps. When I was young I used to go to the Main Gate at posts like Fort Riley and ask them nicely for one of their paper maps of Main Post. You could also get maps of Camp Funston, Whitside and Custer Hill.
These maps are even better.

I am blatantly stealing and reblogging your posts. This map is humorous; some of the others are amazing.
Dang. The Brits really got around, didn't they? ;-)
The maps were all pretty good and those English sure got around. I once heard that the Church made that happen. The evangelists would sail off to bring the Word to the heathen, get in trouble, get stuffed in cooking pots and then the British governor or government would have to send the military to rescue the preachers and punish the heathen and ended up controlling huge tracts of land with no idea why they did it.
