These are pretty darn good.
I have always liked his paintings because they are compositions that are about the light that falls within. Solar infall....
There was another artist. One who sold priceless Vermeers to the Nazis during World War II. It is a fascinating story about how he beat the charges against him of collaborating with the enemy which was deadly serious in Holland right after the war.
Speaking as one who knows these things, I cannot imagine the patience of both parties to get these staged and photographed. I'm sure lots of favorite things were involved.
There are a number of other works at the first link.

What a beautiful collaboration between parent (an artist) and child (a natural).
The photographs are MOST excellent and the article about van Meegeren was fascinating. It's pretty early in the day, but I doubt I'll come across anything better than this today.
I hope she doesn't grow up to look like her dad! :)
But it is a really amazing photo shoot that captured the style of Vermeer perfectly and legally.
I loved the pictures and I always remember the story of van meegeren whenever Vermeer comes up. I love that he sold his forgeries to the Nazis and was accused of collaborating by selling authentic Vermeers. Poor guy.
