I don't fall asleep. I have to reach out to grasp it and I seldom do. It's elusive to get there. Once asleep it is hard for me to give it up. I'm something of a night owl although the only thing to fly through my window and bite me was a bat. Perhaps I'm a nightbat.

My mind insisted on adding a "k" to nightbat, and also provided a mental image of a tiny round table upside down in a tree, and of course, little furry upside down creatures in tiny suits of armor.
I will have you know that a little bat flew in my opened window and landed on my knee. I took him in my left hand to toss back out the window when he bit me on my thumb.
I took myself to the VA immediately and got globulin shots in every part not covered with fingernail. Lot's of shots....with needles.
It wasn't until years later that I knew that those shots cost $10,000 each. I think I paid $45 bucks.
I'll go with some kind of bat (you were asking for that one)
When I met you, you had a baseball bat in your doorway. OK, and a sword. Bats seem natural and organic.
You are so lucky.
