A GREAT TRUTH

Ruthlessly stolen root, stock and branch from the Bayou Renaissance Man. It keeps going unsaid by the media, but the US Courts have ruled over and over again that the police have no duty to protect you. None at all. Not even those shits in Broward were held accountable for their manifest failures to do what liberals all expect of them and that realists know just don't happen all that often when left purely in the hands of the police. Oh, and the cops can justifiably shoot innocent people until they get tired and go home and neither you nor the law can hold them accountable in most jurisdictions because they all agree that the only thing that matters is going home at the end of their shift.

I did peruse an article today that claimed that magazine springs can safely be counted  on to work until after the ammunition in the magazine has deteriorated to the point of uselessness. I'm not sure I believe that.

One of the things I've noticed is that the stories of good people using weapons to defend themselves and their families can be hard to find in our media today. If I didn't know better it would seem that the MSM has an agenda they wish to push and self defense stories by Good people just don't fit their narrative. Fortunately I found a Blog site that likes to highlight these "feel good" stories that tend to get buried by those who claim to know what news we should know. Hope you enjoy...

PS they also have fun exposing the low life military imposters. I know I shouldn't enjoy the pain of these, but Lord forgive me I do enjoy it so...

Now that they have this POS in Philly in custody, we are finding out that he has an extensive arrest and conviction record, including gun convictions. So why was he on the streets? Want to end gun violence? Keep the gun criminals IN PRISON! How simple is that? The damage he might do in future will be limited to the space inside the prison walls.

BTW, I'd be willing to bet my next pension check that the weapons he used we not legally his. So MS Harris, before you pander for another nickel's worth of donations, NO CHANGES TO CURRENT GUN LAWS WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THE PHILLY SHOOTOUT! (Caps intentional, as I am screaming at my keyboard.)

I enjoyed John's website for many years but I did stop reading it daily after he died. Having looked at it just now it seems to be carrying on despite the loss.

observed a comment in the headline of a paper decrying "legal gun owner shoots and kills teenager during a attempted car theft in front of a house. no mention of the car belonging to a 75yr old gun owner, parked in front of his home in the driveway, the "teenager" advanced on the homeowner when the homeowner walked outside to see what was going on in his own driveway, and that a large knife was recovered at the scene by the popo.
headlines are all in the semantics.

of course, the headline only stated "legal gun owner kills teenager". real attention getting.

I had known exactly two LEOs who would move to gunfire without being asked. they were dedicated lawmen and both retired in good health. they trusted and used body armor. neither was in it for money or glory. they were really among the many who only desired to serve and protect. they both worked for Dade county sheriffs office in south FL. So, not all the LEOs in south FL are such flakes fruits and nuts(granola people) as there is in boward co. boward you will recall is home of the privileged.

used to power up the elint gear at night on the ramp and listen to all the drug bust going on in dade county, made the "Miami Vice" tv show seem tame. just down the ramp the Customs guys had roughly two hundred aircraft they confiscated. sat in the shade and watched their souped up B-26 invader land with the nose gear up and locked. they did a great deal of business in the mid 70's. we usually took a customs agent up with up when we did aircrew training and flexed the radar-posse comentadas law, ya know. never once heard anyone on the radio say it was too dangerous to go into a threat environment from dade county sheriffs office... boward is full of political cowards.

I remember a couple of deputies from Coral Springs were the first to enter and iirc got reprimanded for going in against orders from the broward cowards already on scene.

Strictly speaking posse comitatus only applies to the Army. As a navy guy we spent years assisting the USCG et al in Florida/Georgia and also the border patrol at the river crossings in San Diego/Imperial Beach.

This is true, it does not apply to the Navy.
