I was there when we attacked the Sahand and Sabalan but I don't think that we sank them. Reading the WAS strike report was amusing. Every single ship that was engaged in that operation in 1988 has been struck off the navy register. I don't think we've had any surface actions at all since then unless you count all our DDGs running amok and into cargo ships in the Pacific.

The Navy has only 1 truly green ship. It is also the only ship in active inventory that has sunk an enemy ship.
