AND ABOUT TIME

This idiotic game we've been playing along with is just about over. Letting men compete against girls and declaring them all girls is one of the stupider things I've encountered over the last 58 years. It's right up there with letting perverts who identify as women into the girls locker room and restrooms. Finally, they are fighting back.

That a concept so idiotic on its face must be referred to the Courts is a sad commentary on the state of the American political class. They caved into the zealot 2% and let them run roughshod over the rights of girls and women because...... Because what dammit! We used to have perfectly good terms for boys that wanted to be girls. We called them cross dressers and fags. Either was descriptive and accurate and neither intruded on the rights of actual girls or women.

I used to fly with my little girl and it was with little trepidation that I sent her off into the ladies room at the airports because I had no fear any harm could come to her there. I'm not sure how that works for single dads anymore. I can't even imagine how it works in high school locker rooms.

If there is any justice the courts will sort it out properly and it will open the door for thousands of women everywhere to sue the schools and other polities for damages.

FADE AWAY GIRL

Brutal day. I called my x yesterday and got the most pathetic peep out of my daughter as her mother loathed me over the phone, long distance, like she does. I hung up and I went for a walk, very worried about a little girl who lives very far away. I was heading to the local coffee shop which is about a mile away and it's just an easy stroll through the neighborhood and I walked by this church.

It's where we go to practice Tai Chi. It also happens to be the church of a fellow barberian who gets his hair cut in the same little shop that everybody in Cleveland uses to get a haircut. That's where I met him the first time. I knew the name of the deputy second under assistant minister and I thought he might be able to provide me with the name of a worthy lawyer who would be good for a child custody battle.

I caught him at an auspicious time. His girl Friday (as I think about it, his wife)  showed me to his office where he was busy packing up things into boxes but he graciously made time for me and we chatted. I told him what I wanted which was no more than the names of any lawyers he thought might help me and he then told me that he was packing to leave. After 7 years in MetroParkCentralis he had come to an end and had his own ministry. He was heading west to take charge of a church which is just about a mile away from my daughter's house in Portland 2500 miles away. He will be there next week. We talked.

I don't go to church.

My daughter is in the 7th grade. For some reason, that calls to mind this wonderful lady who was the very first person I ever worked for. I was in the 7th grade and I 'helped' her in the library when I was not in class. She gave me a complete first day cover envelope and commissioning package from the commissioning of USS NIMITZ. I kept it pristine, still in the original package right up until I gave it all to Chaplain Harvey. As with Mike Lemieux, I wish that I had followed my friends a little closer. I had no idea that the oldest child of Chester Nimitz passed away in 2015. That's just a breath away in time.

LITTLE WANKERS

As you get older you notice that change and the rate of change seems to have picked up since you were young. You also revert to the thing you used to be and you tend to generalize about people. See that? I just did it there.

This is about the possible trend of young minds deep diving in the muck and mire of college life. A lot of the sphere appears upset that so many of the little darlings seem to be wanting their nannies and blankies and perhaps binkies because it's too rough out there for proper little tools of the progressive state. I have one relative who is quite angry about it. She's almost in a position to know but I asked her the other day, "how many of these trogs and simpering gits have you heard of or seen on this campus?"

The answer, surprisingly, is none. If they're here they're very quiet and keep to themselves. I'm starting to believe that a lot of it is the professoriate at the College of Arts and Sciences who, unable to find proper little revolutionaries, are winding up some of their own just to make noise and raise a ruckus. At this place they all still happily play Zombie vs Human with gunnish looking things. The suggestible ones have been turned over to the Sierra Club and the COMINTERN.

I don't like the reports I read about how justice is less than just but I suspect we all know that it was always suspect. Double secret probation is not a myth out of the dark ages. It happened. It happened a lot. It's just that nobody ever talked about it. And, if the truth were told, most of the problems went away quietly, almost furtively and were hardly ever talked about. That can't happen when you have people dedicated to consciousness raising using clubs, lawyers, lying media investigators and the Commissars of Diversity and Gender Bending. All in all, I prefer Timothy Leary.
-Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition.
-You're only as young as the last time you changed your mind.
-The universe is an intelligence test.
-Each religion has got their own way of making you feel like a victim.
The "victims" aren't always pitied and sheltered. I don't know where the current crop got the idea that playing the victim was a good thing, but the secret wisdom suggests that mostly they're going to learn and we can't ask for more than that.

∃! x : P(x)

A poor and niggardly sense of humor is just a reminder that those least able to cope with reality are the ones most willing to expound about  how it done them wrong and demand satisfaction because they misheard the word or substituted the one they thought they read and then decided they'll be damned if they're going to tolerate that kind of cism.

Girls Spelling NIPPER at School Run Out of Pee -Get Suspended for Five Days
Words have specific meaning. Getting all upset because somebody misspelled your favorite euphemism is pathetic and defies reason. Right up there with Illinois Nazis, I despise naggers and humorless scolds.

Oh, and NAACP, that euphemism you're so fond of; it means exactly the same thing however you spell it. That's how language works in the real world. A moose painted to look like a mouse is still a moose.

Nota bene - next time girls, lose the **. They're never funny.

OUTDOOR VOICE

I live directly across the street from an elementary school. It is background noise but every now and again I 'listen'. It's like listening to birds
