NO KNOCK IS MURDER BY COP

This was murder by cop you don't have to agree but we should end it as a practice where the cops shoot innocent people in an armed invasion and where the ones who shoot back in response are charged with crimes against cops. I'm not alone in thinking this way. Every single person I've known over the last 55 years would treat a home invasion by cops exactly the same way they'd treat a home invasion.  Just how cops don't understand that is beyond me.

Invade a man's castle? He has a right to self defense. WACO. TWICE.

The latest gen, whatever they're called, probably don't see it. Their mother's didn't ever allow them to shoot guns in the boy scouts or the military service they declined and to be honest most of the sailors I knew were in that large group the admiral talked about that should never be allowed to handle firearms. "they'd do an injury to themselves." One might laugh but still it was tragic.

The ones in this country shooting the shit out of others are mostly black youths who just point and shoot as directed or when the whim takes them. Read https://secondcitycop.blogspot.com/. It is a description of an epic man made tragedy that just goes on and on.

While I agree about the no knock raids, this was NOT the case here. Found here

Everything the Media Claimed About Breonna Taylor’s Death Was a Lie – Truth Surfaces – No Police Charged in Her Death…

Chris Mallory said...

Except that cops lie and you are depending on the word of lying cops. There were no illegal objects in Taylor's apartment. Only one independent witness said the cops announced. All others said they didn't. But that is all beside the point. We had 3 thugs kick in a door then shoot an unarmed woman who was not a threat. Those are the only facts that matter. I don't care if Taylor had been smuggling in tons of coke. There was no reason that night for the cops to kick in the door, announced or not, and shoot an unarmed woman. Taylor's safety was more important than the safety of the cops. They should have retreated and took control of the situation. Instead they committed a murder. Those are the facts. Defending her murder is something that should happen in North Korea or Iran, not the United States.

That article is submerging; try...

BTW, what is not clear is whether or not the search warrant was authorized and executed as an allowed-at-night warrant -- those are even a step worse than a no-knock.

From what has emerged after the fact (vs what the media wants people to believe), they did have a no-knock warrant but did not use it, they announced themselves and the neighbor overheard them say police. Too easy to Monday morning quarterback these things when not involved. Obviously the GJ determined what they did by the evidence presented. If this were racial, a cover-up, or anything else being used to foment chaos as a weapon, the GJ would have proceeded accordingly.

The same number could have secured the property and announced themselves.. These power plays are not necessary, but they DO allow a buncha thugs wearing badges to get off on going in hot, Completely unnecessary bullshit.

As I hope I have made clear over the many years here, I do support law officers when they justly carry out their duties and r responsibilities but too many don't and they are never held to account when they murder innocent people. That needs to happen and happen soon because I find my own faith in law enforcement officers wavering. What was once rote is not and hasn't really been since Waco and Elian Gomez.
When a man like me can look at a jury trial as a member of the jury and fail to believe the word of the law officers and the FBI, something fundamental in our society is broken.
I doubt it can be repaired but we need to make the effort.

or Elian Gonzalez.

Very rarely do LEO lie on the stand. Rather, they (and defense experts) answer with *precise* truth to the *specific* (and usually carefully word-smithed) questions asked.

That's what the system demands ("Objection, Your Honor: Non-resposive"), and that's what they deliver.

Attending court is a right we all have here. I have not availed that right. In almost 60 years I have been summoned to be a juror 4 times. Twice I had to decline. I was still navy and deployed, 2 times I went but the pool was so large I was let go. Given the enormous number of crimes one would think maybe I would be summoned more often.

Perhaps there is a downside to the locals letting perps plead out and never face a jury of their peers. I have not made a study of it but I think it sounds likely. OTOH, some forward thinking guy blew up the Shaker Heights Courthouse back in the day. He might have been prescient........or smoking something.

the fact is they lie, a lot and rarely are caught. I was the fly on the wall once in Strongville and listened as 4 cops talked about lying in court on cases they were called on.A long time ago in San Diego I went from being a citizen who believed the cops to one that no longer did. In the judges voire dire I'll be honest and yet I know I'll be excused. The cops blackened their name as thoroughly as the FBI did in the Trump case. I simply don't believe them. That's been the case for about 40 years.

I am not a fan of the no-knock warrants. Any attack by anybody on my home will be met with deadly force, if you break down my front door there will be a fire fight. I live in the greater Atlanta, thugs doing the home invasion will do spoof this crap more often than cops will brake it down.

The big city cops who are doing this stuff are on the same side as the communist rioters, working for the same big boss. The riots are the cops putting on some street theater with the rioters.

Ominous Cowherd said...

Anyone who has ever listened to cops talking or watched them working knows that they lie, and allow their fellow cops to get away with lying.

That neighbor originally said the cops did not announce. But changed his story during the third interview by the police. 11 other witnesses said they did not hear any announce by the police.

A researcher went on over 70 different raids with the LPD. In cases of "Knock and announce", the "announce" was delivered with the first hit of the battering ram. There was no operational difference between the "No knock" and the "K & A" raids.

Taylor supposedly asked who it was beating on her door in the middle of the night. The only response she got was a battering ram.

"Monday morning quarterback"? That is all the cops do. Study the actions of a citizen then try to find a reason to arrest them.

Grand juries do what the government tells them. The prosecutor can give a soft ball case or he can make the accused sound like Manson and Dahmer had a baby. The GJ process is corrupt top to bottom.

Had a commodore who sat on the San Dieogo grand jury for a full year, That kind of shit didn't pass muster. Sometimes we pretend to a civilized country. It takes men like him to make it one. My blind but nimble fingers were well on their way to say 'and women' but then I cut them off.

We literally got to the place we are because we let women vote. We fucked up, badly.

look at Scandinavia. They had a paradise and then they fucked it over like the Russians never could.
