I had to go for a long walk in the rain tonight. I have no memory of what egregious thing I did or did not do but was sundered into the dark and the rain. It does give me a chance to chat with neighbors and we aren't all afraid of the virus so it's civilized and coffee is offered and quietly declined. We were, after all, sent out to the dark at darkness so.... it's OK. I don't sleep at night and I just can't get it back.
Badgers are Creatures Of The Night, and doth patrol at such times! I love driving in the rain, at night. However, I had to go and get the mail, Thursday, and it was coming down in buckets, and 36F. I was dumb enough to go in just a set of sweats, and wound up soaked to the skin. YAY, HOT SHOWERS!
You had on proper rain hear, I hope! I still have my ANSI Green coat, from my deputy days, that is good to -40, but can still feel inadequate in a cold driving rain!
