BTW, this brings up the question: Are the nuke launch codes still removed from the boomers? IIRC idiot Clinton had 'em removed, brilliant plan was that "in time of crisis" he'd have 'em surface and fly out the codes by helo. BRILLIANT! Simply BRILLIANT..
I happen to think they just stamped that onto their copy of the document. I remember once hearing from some of our techs coming back from a ship visit that they found someone had hooked up an UNCLASS computer to the Secret Internet Protocol server by accident and left it like that for months.
I think all they did was pull the target coordinate from the missiles. All the operators had to do to retarget them was to enter the coordinates from the SIOP. I think it would take under a minute barring any 2 person integrity compliance problems. It was all for show.
