NOT HELPING BUT THE DEVIL KNOWS HE TRIED

McCabe is gone now but I enjoy this January encomium of Holder's total support for a scumbag we all wish we could wash in the Potomac down there at the mouth of the Chesapeake where the Bull sharks roam wild and free.

I get a kick out of this report from the daily mail
Former Attorney General Eric Holder came to McCabe's defense Monday afternoon.
'FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is, and has been, a dedicated public servant who has served this country well. Bogus attacks on the FBI and DOJ to distract attention from a legitimate criminal inquiry does long term, unnecessary damage to these foundations of our government,' Holder wrote on Twitter.
With "friends" like Holder, one doesn't really need enemies. Holder is, of course, the Attorney General held in Contempt-of-Congress for refusing to testify about an investigation.

I wonder what happened to the legitimate criminal inquiry into Hillary Clinton who, manifestly and obviously violated espionage laws along with all those who shared classified information on her private little unclassified and illegal mail server. Way too many people have gone to jail, some for decades, for violating the same espionage law.

TAKING A STICK TO TIME

There is a wonderful "moment of truthiness" in a pair of twits that showed up today. It speaks volumes about Time Magazine. They've joined Newsweek in missing just about every single particle of "real as opposed to fake news" since midway through the Vietnam War. They made up the news for at least a generation, my generation. I haven't believed them since I was a paperboy in Newport, RI over 40 years ago.

What they don't make up they simply ignore or twist to suit their imperatives to support the DNC. I suspect there hasn't been a peep about any of the sexual harassment accusations launched against democrats for the last 3 weeks. It's like there's no story there.

I KEEP DOING IT

Because it's just a matter of time. Donna will be dead in a week or two. It's the Clinton/Democrat way.

Come on, admit it. When is the last time you heard of any Clinton namer other than Trump who remained alive this long? Go on and wonder that Trump has hired and retained his own secret protection because he has more smarts than to trust Hillary's penetration of the pathetic remains of what was once the useless Secret Service who seem to have allowed just about every single Republican President to be shot by killers.

I'm not all that sure that shooting Hillary or Pelosi in the head would "do them an injury". Just sayin.

AND FINALLY THE MURK BEGINS TO CLEAR

It appears that the House is finally ready to man up and investigate the Hillary and Bill Clinton Corruption Foundation with a special focus on the Uranium fleecing of America.

All I can say is that it's about time those dummies started to get to work on the issues that they were elected to carry out in the People's Name.

"NICE LOOKING SHOTGUN",

said the main-stream news expert on firearms. Srsly, they have powers of observation frequently observed in blades of grass. One has to wonder if they ever report anything factual, truthful or honest. All of them somehow failed to notice that Hollywood is run by powerful men who hold the power of fame and stardom in their pants and have never done anything but gush about the bare minimum actresses adorn themselves with clotheswise while carefully never mentioning how the rich and powerful moguls always seem to have some young starlet on their arm at all those Hollywood self-congratulatory celebrations where they give each other prizes for some fairly dismal performances.

Wouldn't you think there would be some years in the history books where they got together and decided absolutely nothing at all that year measured up to the standards set by winning films and artists in previous years? Yeah, it would never occur to them to wonder. They lost their sense of wonder the first time somebody took them aside to explain why that actress kept saying such nice things about that producer even though it was widely known that he was a rapist.

I see Mark Steyn in now enjoying his sixth year with the DC Courts as he waits for them to get moving on the case launched against him by that titan of mistruth and misdirection, Mann. I don't know that the wheels of justice turn at all anymore in this country unless they are well lubricated with the blood of innocent, but poverty stricken defendants, who could not get out of the way fast enough when the law came knocking.

Watching the dismal show of some of the most venal self-serving chief lawmen to ever live in this country while they "investigate" Russian collusion with the Trump campaign even though they winked at and totally ignored the total corruption of the democrats and the Clintons in the Uranium fiasco is getting hard to tolerate anymore. I think Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein and all their loyal assistants need to be rounded up and confined for a very long time for fraud and abuse of a public animal. God knows they've disgraced the donkey that hired them and they are totally failing to kick the ass they're investigating. What a pathetic herd of scum.

We used to be better than this.

I daresay most of you have noticed that the picture above contains no shotguns. Or, as CBS would have it, 'it's clearly a bolt action automatic shotgun.'

THEY LEFT A MAN BEHIND ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE

I never thought I'd read about this again in my lifetime but it does look like the United States Army left a missing and possibly wounded soldier behind when the Niger army unit he was attached to was attacked.
WASHINGTON (AP) — After an extensive search, a U.S. soldier who had been missing for nearly two days in Niger was found dead, a result of a deadly ambush by dozens of Islamic extremists on a joint patrol of American and Niger forces, U.S. military officials said Friday.
The soldier, whose name has not been released, was one of four U.S. troops and four Niger forces killed in the attack.
His body was found by Niger soldiers on Friday near where the ambush occurred, and then transferred into U.S. custody at a safer location further from the attack site, said Army Col. Mark Cheadle, spokesman for U.S. Africa Command. The soldier's body was then moved onto an American helicopter by U.S. forces in a somber ceremony and then taken away for formal identification.
Eight Niger soldiers and two U.S. troops were wounded in the attack, but they were evacuated from the area on Wednesday after the attack unfolded. Cheadle said there was no indication the missing soldier was ever taken captive by the enemy forces.
U.S. officials described a chaotic assault in a densely wooded area, as 40-50 extremists in vehicles and on motorcycles fired rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns at the patrol, setting off explosions and shattering windows. The soldiers got out of their trucks, returning fire and calling in support from French helicopters and fighter jets that quickly responded to the scene, according to officials. It's unclear if the French aircraft were armed or if they fired on the insurgents.
I had read about the attack on, and the death of three American Special Forces soldiers earlier this week but nothing was said about abandoning a missing soldier to his fate.

It looks like the Army is running into some basic competency failures just as the Navy is. The Navy decided to address their problem by firing the guys left holding the bag after the bean counting CNOs and SECNAVs of the last 20 years carefully and methodically gutted the Navy shore training establishment, gutted the manpower on our warships by stripping 'unessential' personnel from the ships in order to save a buck so the CNO could by his pathetic little crappy ships and boondoggle ZUMWALT class toothless tigers and then gutted the afloat training commands while over committing the Navy's few remaining ships to the same scheduled requirements that were once the purview of a navy twice the size.

I suspect Secretary Mattis is going to have a word with SOCOM and AFRICOM and perhaps try to impress upon them that we don't leave our men behind, Ever.

UPDATE: From Army Times:
On the day of the attack, about a dozen U.S. special operators and a platoon-sized element of Nigerien forces were conducting a vehicle mounted patrol “to establish relations with local leaders,” said to Col. Mark Cheadle, a spokesman for AFRICOM.
The patrol came under heavy enemy fire, and U.S. forces responded, killing the enemy forces, Cheadle said.
U.S. forces didn’t have armed aircraft overhead during the onset of the mission, Cheadle said, but the patrol was being watched by overhead drone assets.
So it looks like they were shoved through the wire to go make friends with the terrorists in the neighborhood and the terrorists probably had no problems setting up an ambush since the U.S. forces were clearly somewhere under that drone. The drone was probably piping real-time imagery to U.S. AFRICA COMMAND's headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. After all, the 1500 staff pogues stationed at the Africa Command's headquarters in Germany need something to occupy their time and attention when they're at work.

WHEN COLOR IS KING

Why is the left so obsessed with color? What rational basis is there for judging groups of people or even individuals by their color? Was it not Martin Luther King Jr who spoke of his dream?
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Why is it that the left feels entirely free to rip to shreds people based solely on their color? Where will it end and why is just the left that finds color so damning?

Here's an idiot with a profound color problem.
Former first lady Michelle Obama claims the Republican Party’s lack of diversity makes Americans distrust the political process.
Why would that idiot think that? Is it because she thinks all black and brown people are inherently racist and thus they can never trust the white people? If that's the case then just who exactly are the racists in this country?
During an on-stage interview at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women Tuesday, Obama shared why she thinks diversity is so important.
“We should be working actively to mix it up, so we’re getting a real broad range of perspectives on every issue. Shoot, I would see that in Congress,” she stated.
Why invite a broad range of perspectives when 90% of them are profoundly ignorant, stupid or misinformed?  I don't see how the color of the person affects the solutions and damn the pontifcating morons like Shiela Jackson Lee or that idiot who thought the island of Guam would flip over if any more Marines stepped foot on it. Nobody really needs their point of view on anything unless you like input from idiotic bigots and racists.
“At the State of the Union address… when you are in the room what you can see is this real dichotomy. It’s a feeling of color almost,” Obama said. “On one side of the room is literally gray and white. Literally, that is the color palette on one side of the room. On the other side of the room, there are yellows and blues and whites and greens. Physically, there’s a difference in color, in the tone, because on one side all men, all white, on the other side some woman, some people of color.”
Why is color the go-to for diversity? Why not a diversity of opinions or a diversity of education or a diversity of life experience? Why is the makeup of the Supreme Court 100% Harvard or Yale Law School graduates? As of 2014, the Supreme Court had a majority from the Northeastern United States, with seven justices coming from states to the north and east of Washington, D.C. including four justices born or raised in New York City.

There is another odd thing about our diversity at the Supreme Court today. There are no Protestants sitting on the Court but at least we got whatever diversity springs from color alone. You'd think there'd be a Baptist or a Methodist in the bunch but you'd be wrong.

John Roberts (Chief Justice) Roman Catholic
Anthony Kennedy                 Roman Catholic
Clarence Thomas                 Roman Catholic
Ruth Bader Ginsburg         Judaism Clinton
Stephen Breyer                 Judaism
Samuel Alito                        Roman Catholic
Sonia Sotomayor                Roman Catholic
Elena Kagan                        Judaism Obama
Neil Gorsuch                        Raised Roman Catholic

But, as you can see, with people like the Obamas it's ALL ABOUT COLOR. They literally don't care about anything else.
“I look at that, and I go, no wonder. No wonder we struggle, no wonder people don’t trust politics. We’re not even noticing what these rooms look like,” she added.
I have a dream too. See the MLK quote above. It's about time the racists and bigots got over their insistence that color matters more than character, intelligence, background, skill, expertise or  any other quality in the room.

Oh, and take a look at the actual people in the room she was talking about. Women and black conservatives are invisible to racist bigots like Michelle Obama.

OATH OF OFFICE

President Trump would be off to a flying start if he swore an oath to honor the laws of the United States and especially the Federal Records Act and Freedom of Information Act and made all of his appointees honor those laws in a formal oath each took, on the record. Let us have no more of this venal corrupt democrat process of violating the laws that permit transparency and accountability at every level of the federal government.

It is painfully obvious that this is required by law and by We, the People.
From National Archives:
What are recordkeeping requirements?"Recordkeeping requirements" are defined as all statements in statutes, regulations, and agency directives or authoritative issuances, that provide general and specific requirements for Federal agency personnel on particular records to be created and maintained by the agency (36 CFR 1220.14). Recordkeeping requirements should be outlined in procedural manuals and other issuances that specify which records need to be included in agency files or other recordkeeping systems.
Clearly articulated recordkeeping requirements are essential for creating adequate and proper documentation. For more information, consult Agency Recordkeeping Requirements: A Management Guide.
What is a record?Records are defined in various statutes, including the Federal Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act. The definition that follows is from the Federal Records Act that governs agencies' records management responsibilities.
Records include all books, papers, maps, photographs, machine-readable materials, or other documentary materials, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received by an agency of the United States Government under Federal law or in connection with the transaction of public business and preserved or appropriate for preservation by that agency or its legitimate successor as evidence of the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, operations, or other activities of the Government or because of the informational value of the data in them (44 U.S.C. 3301).
Many of the key terms, phrases, and concepts in this statutory definition of records are defined in CFR Part 1222.12.
It might have been interesting to see all of the records of U.S. funds to the various warlords and other parties in Afghanistan and Iraq. I wouldn't bother to look at them now because I've heard that such records were, very specifically, not kept or were such a pack of lies they are worthless.

ANYONE TRUST THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL?

A sad story about a little boy from Congo who died on a plane from Dubai as it flew to Chicago. He may or may not have been dead before the plane landed.  You see, we also don't believe CBS news anymore either.
Dieme was taken to Presence Resurrection Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The CDC spokesman said it had been determined that the child did not have a disease that posed a threat to public health. If more information comes forward that results in contacting passengers, action will be taken.
Does anybody trust the Centers for Disease Control to be accurate, forthcoming and honest or do we simply expect that their every initial pronouncement about anything is either a lie or an enthusiastic burst of optimism that overwhelms their scientific credibility?
So we do expect, unfortunately, that Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands could have many infections with the Zika virus, and we will certainly see U.S. travelers returning with Zika infections, just as we saw travelers returning with dengue and chikungunya infections. We could see isolated cases and small clusters of infections in other parts of the country where the mosquito is present. But from the information we know now, widespread transmission in the contiguous United States appears to be unlikely.
