THE NEW WINTER WAR MEDAL

Exclusivily for guards only. Regular proles need not apply. The National Guard is finally released from being more numerous in DC than Afghanistan. They will, no doubt, in due time, be able to wear their new medal from their Winter War right there on the very plains of Appalachia. I am 100% certain that the office of heraldry is working day and night on the right medal for such noble service.

Tsquared said...: The Guard deployments on Title 32 orders are scheduled to stop on June 24, one day short of the 90 days needed to qualify for certain retirement and GI Bill benefits.

A Great Victory

When you think about it, the Wise in conclave, decided that the thing to do after this great but meaningless victory was to advance deep into enemy territory and fight a battle that they knew they could not win.
