INCONGRUOUSLY

I find it interesting that just a week ago everyone involved in pushing DEI and sucking off that particular tit was proud of it and now you can't find a single one them with radar, sonar, hound dogs, both hands or seeing eye dog. They all seem to have vanished into the mist.

Oh well, the internet is forever so all we really have to do to track them down is look for them where they so proudly boasted of being last week and we'll still find them there unless they decided to take the public employee option and work from home. In any event, we can stop paying them today and they earned it.

How well will President Trump listen to The People. In the following context, I favor they he don't, at least very much.

Ironically, it will cost money to reduce government spending. And when begins the cries that it costs 'too much', I'd rather the president largely ignore them.

A related concern is that to reduce as much government as possibly while keeping the cost as little as possible, the very real condition created is a skipping through the agencies but with little follow up. That one and done approach can be easily undone by stalwart employees within the departments of government. Just hold tight, he'll be gone shortly, they say to themselves. To be clear, that's not about the length of a four year term; it is that, to keep the costs down, DOGE and the like will not afford the expense of time and money necessary to ensure the fires of government waste (and BS policies) are completely extinguished.

The overall goal will to be supremely efficient while avoiding cost overruns. How doable is that, I don't know. However, I do see the need of what amounts to a PR campaign to remind The People to be patient and that it will hurt a bit at least in the short term. That said, I wouldn't bet on the constituency being still. Patience seems to have fallen in American society.

And none of that addresses the blankety blank so and so in the media. Probably even now they are salivating at the chance to set enormous fires of discontent. A nation ablaze is their intent.

As I have said, 90% of them will readily self-identify and be disposed of. They literally cannot help themselves because they are just so damned clever. I'm thinking Strozk and his lawyer squeeze and their incredible email trail.'
It is, as you say, a long road and it requires something like diligence because we want to get rid of the commies and the threats to civilization but we don't actually and cannot actually weed out all the stupid ones. Stupid is always with us.
It is going to require gearing down by deliberate intent and that means that people in government jobs will have to notify their superiors that the cost cutting in personnel is going to affect their ability to perform all the marginalia crap that their jobs have heretofore required. There are a couple of ways to do that but it requires thinkers willing to stick out their necks to provide necessary topcover. If you are familiar with the DOD 5000 it is all about Defense Acquisitions and it is roughly 85% purely useless. it is rigorous, torturous, time consuming, eats manhours and accomplishes absolutely nothing. The Selection Authority is still going to pick whichever program he likes best and the paperwork is then modified to suit his choice. It is the essence of every PMs job and it has to go. I'm sure the other Departments have similar vices they have used to clamp the balls of those interested in reforming and making efficiencies.
I just caught Seth Myers and his little shower of shit. We really cannot do much about the media but create and maintain our own. The danger of course is that we have so many imbeciles who fail to understand that if it doesn't stay explicitly right-wing and honest it will be taken over by the faux conservative shites such as Jen Ruben or David Frum or the Bulwark morons.
