It is interesting to observe that the ruler of South Korea just declared martial law because invalid reason. The UK government is a tiny minority of actual Members of Parliament and yet rules as if it has a mandate given by the people and the French PM just overwrote the will of the Parliament there and signed into force a new budget that did not have popular support. In Georgia the foreign born President is simply ignoring the democratic vote for a new government and has decided to retain power. Everywhere one looks at the so-called democratic West we see rot and ruin setting it. This is probably one for the ages since it so clearly defines who the enemies of civilization really are.

sorta reminds me of FDR, though he was a bit more subtle about it - at times
Politicians ignore the will of the people for a simple reason. Because they can. They never suffer any painful personal consequences. Till they do they will continue to run rampant doing whatever the hell they want.
Defiant, I think it best to wait a bit. In the Koreas, there is always something cooking below the surface.
