IN RETROSPECT….

As we begin to comprehend the possible scale of wanton destruction of undersea  infrastructure it is really clear to see just how insanely stupid it was to blow up the Russo-German NORD pipelines in the Baltic and then wage full economic war against Russia. Now that other people’s infrastructure is being destroyed every week you have to wonder just what the idiots in charge of blowing up the pipelines thought would happen.

On a cheerful note one can consider if the people who argued for the destruction really were friends of the United States or just the lousy scheming neocons behind every war in the last 70 years. I mean seriously, how is it that all these ‘impoverished’ countries have an infinite number of missiles of every type when ours cost hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece and did no one really foresee that tit-for-tat was going to be the order of the day once economic warfare turned explosive?

We don’t need to kill all the Houthi, just kill every person that sells or delivers them weapons and those who pay for them. We might also consider ending our involvement in insane and counterproductive geopolitics because our Harvard and Yale grads just aren’t anywhere near smart enough, clever enough or ruthless enough and bumbling incompetents have no business trying to wage shadow war on the Russians.

"... just kill every person that sells or delivers them weapons ..."
so you're suggesting we start war with the PRC?

My biggest complaint about TPTB is that they pretend to want to bring democratic nationhood to areas that:
1) Do not want democracy.
2) Do not want their own nation.

These folks want what they mostly know: tribal strong men leading their village to local ascendancy within Sharia law. If they do not want a democratic nation, it is foolishness to force it upon them. Most of these tribal areas are ungovernable for this reason. As an example, even the mullahs in Tehran do not try to govern people in Baluchestan and the nearby areas in Iran.

Not starting, fighting back.

It is clearly important to grasp and understand that some places/people are ungovernable. In ancient days populations like that were simply exterminated and colonists moved in. Our powers after George Washington never understood this until the conquest of the PI.

Fixed it. Thanks.
