MORNING TIDINGS

MORNING TIDINGS

Picked up the little love of my life on Sunday and brought her home where we've had a great time playing with cousins on the beach and eating and playing with cousins in Del Mar until the wee hours (2045 if that must be defined); she's only 7, as of today. Smart and cute.

In the morning I head off to the doctor who will describe in some detail for me what it means to have: in the left posterior aspect of the posterior fossa a space-occupying extra-axial lesion of CSF density measuring 3.1 x 1.4 cm causing mild mass effect on the left cerebellar hemisphere. Now that's a mouthful. But then, what are CT scans for?

It used to be something I held in my hands. Very very frustrated hands.

Happy Birthday to your little bit. I'm glad you got to enjoy time with her.
What does the CT scan report mean in Plain English for the uninformed?

oddly enough, the doctors were less than forthcoming. I'm not sure the medical language interpreted would be much more stuffed with information. I may suffer from a brain cloud.
And yes, I really did like that movie. you know, Joe.

I'm sorry, not Joe. I really enjoyed her in all her roles in that movie.

other than herself, the most remarkable things I had found in the film was the luggage and the idea that somewhere in the vastness of the ocean is an island completely populated by a people more ignorant than a room full of democrats.

I loved the luggage. I don't know if Terry Pratchett predated that movie with his books containing stories about 'the luggage' or not. I thought she was the hottest babe on the planet then and wasn't reading too many books. It took me almost 40 years to find Pratchett. If you haven't read them, start. Rincewind and the luggage are just 5% of the books/stories.

Pritchett was a gift to the world!
