There is something about it. You find yourself writing things that will never see the light of day. People had a word for that. Yes! They called them editors. You don't actually get so many of them when you blog. Progress!
I have started a few posts that I left as a draft, then revisited, repeated the process several times, then scrapped. Some posts never work, editor or not.
when writers have put their emotions down on paper, editors are the one's that cause the writer to pause and consider the depth of the water before they jump in amongst the rocks. sadly, a trick I have never learned...
Can you even imagine being the editor for CS Lewis or JRR Tolkien? Worst job on the planet. I regret that Tom Clancy escaped editorial aid after his first book, Hunt for Red October. That one was brilliant. The rest, not so much.

Editors can save you from looking a bit of a prat at times, though.
You have been here abouts for some time. I am relying on you to point out when I'm a prat....or an idiot.

I go along with BWBandy. I just need to cull the chaff from my draft file.
I've got something like 3000 drafts. I'm doomed.
Lately, most of my posts haven't even made it to draft.
You and me. We ended up with hate. Miss Golightly I would like to complain.
I've got few words at the moment, I'm tired of talking/posting about me.
At here. Feel free.
You know what they would say. Fire the editor. I'm kind of glad I don't blog for pay.
