DOGMA

It is a movie for those truly light of heart. I saw it years ago and got sucked in tonight when I found it on the tube of you. I enjoy J and Silent Bob but the final movie of the series was a fascinating view into Hollywood and as odd as it sounds, I find it amusing. It's from the same line as Chasing Amy and Mall Rats and those were nowhere near as amusing. I think the writers and crew had enormous fun with making the movie.
Dogma is a 1999 American fantasy comedy film, written and directed by Kevin Smith, who also stars with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Linda Fiorentino, Alan Rickman, Bud Cort, Salma Hayek, Chris Rock, Jason Lee, George Carlin, Janeane Garofalo, Alanis Morissette, and Jason Mewes.

It is a good film, I enjoyed it. Now I need to watch it again. Thanks Cap'n!

And... surprisingly religious. It pulls no punches on Man's Law vs God's Law. But it does deal with religion very well.

The boardroom scene is still one of my favorites.

It's one of those films that sticks to the mind long after the images are gone. I liked the 13th Apostle and the Muse.

It's wrong of us to like that scene. OTOH, I liked that scene too.
