I see that diligent preventers are suggesting that all churches hire defense teams to safeguard the services from the communist revelers that break in and ruin everything whenever they feel like it. This obviously happened in Minnesota but the point was made that it could happen anywhere and that the church should be prepared. I found this interesting because I'm almost certain that every churchmen at every level and at every church is in solid agreement with the socialist revelers out there confusing their idiotic beliefs with the rights that citizens of the United States share and hold in common. There's another thing though.
How would a handful of counter-revelers keep a larger number of ignorant louts screaming socialist pieties out of the church? And besides, didn't those idiots already take over all the churches in the West with their social claptrap? It also must be said that it appears to me that churches are now so very poorly attended that they would welcome Satan's minions if it would get the attendance numbers up. And then, how do a handful of old men stop the Hitler Youth and SA so intent on gooning up the works in God's House?
I don't think you're actually allowed to shoot them. I'm pretty sure that the spears found in some churches are purely ornamental and I don't think the swords some have will actually come off the walls so I'm not sure just how they mean to hold back the savage beasts intent on making their way in.
I wondered for years the same thing about the churches found in Egypt and Nigeria where the muslims can just kill and burn at will and the Christians stand idly by while this goes on. I read somewhere that over a thousand churches were burned in Europe in the last two years. A staggering number of 'mysterious' fires.

Do you get the sense that some people really want to spark off a religious war and it's not who you think it is? Where are the leaders of the Churches demanding that punishment follow invasion and criminal activities not sanctioned by the church? Well, I suppose that's a conundrum because the churches these days sponsor and permit just about every crime they don't actively participate in. I suppose if the churches believe it is OK for them because, higher calling, it must also be true for the rioters and goons who also believe they follow a higher purpose.
See how that worked out? Piss away every single scrap and speck of moral authority and what do you have at the end of the day.

Your points about how far churches have strayed from the Bible's teachings are on point. In the same manner that Elijah thought he was the only prophet left and God told him that God had reserved 7,000 (1 Kings 19) there are still a few churches preaching and teaching the gospel as required by the Bible. The ignorance that the uneducated Christians display in America and elsewhere is shown in the controversies we see today concerning immigration, welfare, not enforcing laws equally and Christian Nationalism.
That being said, God is still in control.

That's quite a statement. Really? You actually believe that? And I thought you were a to the right of center blogger.
In over three decades I have attended more than a dozen churches in six cities out in the suburbs of Seattle (no conservative area, to say the least). The people there might be moderate to conservative politically, but they have no use for what is going on. [Example: Our initiative process keeps pushing back].
Some Jewish friends of ours recently told us they’re looking at tightening security around their temple in South Florida.
ANY church and it's congregation will be utterly destroyed by the media AND the criminally complicit "legal" system of they do ANYTHING in response to the lefts brown shirt shock troops. The system was long ago rigged to allow the criminals complete freedom to act while simultaneously destroying anyone opposing them. A classic communist tactic as Solzhenitsyn pointed out long ago.
For years back when I lived in California I was a member of Daybreak up in Carlsbad. It was a thriving church that held 5 services every weekend because there simply was not room for all the parishioners. This was compounded when our congregation merged with that of another thriving church that, 'caught fire and burned to the ground' one night.
As you know, what sets them apart is that every one of those parishioners would happily give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. It was a pretty nice place with really nice people.
I very rarely pass a church that does not fly banners for Pride. Think about that. It is literally one of the 7 deadly sins right there in the name. Of course, that is to laugh because why not? I lived in West Seattle for 9 months and I literally cannot recall a church there but then I was quite busy and I think I had more than my share of the duty on Weekends somehow.
I'm not amused by the Alexandria Christ Church leaders tossing the plaques commemorating two of their most notable worshipers because they hated them. I have a hard time accepting that a plaque for George Washington erected in 1870 made church members uncomfortable and if it did, wasn't the church completely failing in its mission? I think the same about tossing the plaque of Bob Lee who fought for his State and his Convictions against a fearsome overwhelming Federal Government at the cost of everything he owned. The leader of the Church declared that they had to do it because slavery. I am sick to death of everyone who raises this as a mortifying condition that suffers no relief or redemption and views everything through its vile light.
Here in MetroParkCentralis they have taken to putting in larger 'theater' fences but I also think they may well patrol the grounds 24/7 because they are extensive, there are schools and the believers are Orthodox. We are members of a society that visits the old buildings in the City and its interesting that many of the largest black churches today are in former Jewish temples in the heart of downtown. At this point, they have all moved to the furthest out suburb of the greater metro area.
As Scott Adams and others noted, the only real security lies in increasing the distance.
I think this was the real basis for why so many people liked the superhero movies. All at once and with little effort the bad and the evil guys were swept away and thoroughly punished.
All things are possible. I think of that and wonder that every high school student is not required to read The Grapes of Wrath. It was a story of survival and it was plain that some fought to survive and others fought to sustain a way of life. It seems that now there is NOBODY who will fight to sustain the way of life. I find this sad and yet as I read history it is also the way of things. The old is swept away by the new. I see from Steyn yesterday that he now expects Europe to be muslim majority by 2050. That will be the end of Europe and the beginning of something new. I wouldn't like to be there for it.

I suspect their eyes were opened when one of those flash mobs overwhelmed everybody at their nearest mall one day. That happened a couple of years ago and the situation on the ground changed rather quickly. I think they went in first on the real security things and added the theater stuff later to try to deter attempts.
The left attacks Christians for the same reasons muslims do. With rare exception Christians don't fight back. It's really that simple.
