I thought that the orcs were rediscovering caltrops when I saw this article at Townhall. On closer examination it seems to refer to some other method for crippling the noble steeds of ICE and one that apparently ired the powers of X enough to banish it. It's still new getting used to the idea that there exists again a responsible method of mass communication and enlightenment.

I'm sorry you mentioned caltrops: one or two of the brighter ones might just look that up in their picture dictionary and begin making them to scatter on the roadway just to screw up traffic
