You may remember that I wondered a few months ago if we would once again be able to employ Quaestors in the service of the People and lo, we have Doge and our much more resilient (I hope) Cicero.

Truth: Clear and Simple

Others have noted that once you fail to select for competence you get incompetents. It is the same with selecting for excellence. Once you no longer make it the focus of your effort it quickly goes away.

A Great Victory
