More likely outcome is that he'll finish the job destroying our own economy, and try to use the Ukraine war as the excuse for all the damage that happened since his inauguration.
Because as we've all heard from the moral-grandstanding administration and their backers that we have to "pay a price for defending democracy." Even though there is no real democracy to be found either in the Ukraine or Russia. Not that much in the US, for that matter.
Ukrainians seem to be a brave people, but the US led them down a primrose path, telling them they could be a NATO/EU power right on Russia's border. We knew Russia would not allow it, so we forced Putin's hand. Knowing he would rather wreck Ukraine than have it as a NATO base.
Russia offered to negotiate and allow Ukraine to be a neutral independent country, but Ukraine (and probably our State Department) refused.
I weep for the Ukrainians, who have chosen to be destroyed at the urging of the globalist EU and US powers. But I can't blame Russia for acting as it has. It's what we would have done under our Monroe Doctrine, and everyone knows it.
We are as much responsible and at fault for what happens to the Ukrainians as the Russians are.
I also feel sorry for all those poor Russian conscripts who didn't deserve to die because our political leaders and State Departments are the usual crew of ignorant, stupid, willfull Harvard grads who don't understand the first thing about international relations and diplomacy and the reasons behind why States Act In Their Own Interest Every God Damned Time Push Comes to Shove.
