I found this lurking in somebody’s side yard today in Easton, Maryland. I’m sure it could be restored to its former glory by the right owner. If only there was someone familiar with the aircraft... The rest is probably in the garage getting painted.

Now that right there would be nice to have. Easton MD you say? Might have to make a road trip. Nah, The Missus Herself would not want that in the yard, as cool as that would be.
Sigh...
Dang, wish I was closer, I'd find a way to bring that baby home with me.
Maybe on your roof? It’s like the old advice to those who love beautiful buildings but someone always spoils the view by putting up an ugly building. If you move in to that one you never see it in your field of view. OTOH, those things left a bounty of black smoke in their wake. :)
It was as much a surprise to see it there as it was to see an A4 in somebody’s back yard on the walk up to Gggrch winery in Sanoma.
