A THOUSAND YEARS IN 4 MINUTES

This is the story of the Renaissance and every time the map changes in any tiny detail, history recorded it and blood was shed; patriots, traitors, family members, soldiers, draftees, servants and slaves. Thanks to one particular library, long ago, I used to own a complete copy of The Anchor Atlas of World History, and thanks to Amazon, I will again in a couple of days. Those two little books are a complete history of the world.*

KODACHROME

I'm assuming Kodachrome is in one of the former Soviet Socialist Republics or one of those cities they renamed after the War. It might be somewhere along the Great Silk Road perhaps between Samarkand and Bukhara. Anyone know where it is?

Others have noted that once you fail to select for competence you get incompetents. It is the same with selecting for excellence. Once you no longer make it the focus of your effort it quickly goes away.

A Great Victory
