ANY DAY NOW....

Anybody else expecting Carney to request UN Peacekeepers to keep Canada safe from US? It feels like it is only a matter of time now before he decides to request assistance to guard his border against US incursions and while he is now really good pals with the Axis Powers in Europe it has become clear that the whole of the EU has about as much actual combat power remaining to it as ECOMOG.

Do the UN actually send peacekeepers anywhere these days? When is the last time you heard of real peacekeepers keeping the peace in boundary or threshold states? I mean other than things like 8th US Army in Korea?

I believe KFOR still exists in Kosovo. If I remember correctly that was supposed to be a temporary one year operation.

Carney does what his masters in Beijing tell him to do. No more, no less.

Well since both Russia and the US are on the security council, I can only imagine the look on Carney's face when the US agrees with Vlad to send Russians to help out. Maybe Trump could actually deploy some US troops to the US side. Like all those troops in Europe. It would make a fun news cycle.

Yes, they are still sending out 'peacekeepers'

93 allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse by United Nations personnel that were reported to the UN Secretariat during the period of 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

Considering the number of sexual reports attributed to UN peacekeepers I’m sure that many of the middle eastern refugees would be suitable recruits to defend Canadian borders from the US.

The EU is welcoming association with Canada as a place to dump its undesirable refugees a kind of Lebensraum so to speak

Does anyone know if the PLA is still “training” up there?
