As long as this is the law of the land, and it is, there can be no argument for disarming people who have an inalienable right to arm themselves and see to their own defense.
I remember being horrified that this was the approach the law took. The state of NEW YORK has disarmed the people and criminalized gun possession but also accepts zero responsibility for keeping the people safe even when the damned police are right there on the spot.

Well,we need to "protect ourselves"from the gun grabbers then,they brought it on themselves.
Showing they have power and control.
Law Enforcement has been since its invention, murderers and thugs who serve a corporation government. It's the cowardice of John Q. Public that allows it to exist.
