ON THE DESERT NATURE OF WAR

There are some reports that water supplies and infrastructure were attacked in the last round of missile and drone attacks in the Middle East. This is the sort of thing that made war so unpleasant for everybody. Attacks like this were not banned but they do get a solid wave of condemnation from the usual supporters of infinitely long wars. Once the water runs out, the people don't usually last more than 3 or 4 days, tops.

On the other hand, I cannot imagine anyone being foolish enough to launch attacks on the potable water supplies of any civilization in the desert. That sort of thing is really frowned on and it might invite something almost as strong as a Demarche and perhaps even a certain amount of 'viewing with alarm.'

On the gripping hand, the day that the Iranians fired a barrage of missiles and drones into my critical oil infrastructure in the current unpleasantness is the day I would have ordered the immediate installation of anti-drone netting and the hardening of my water supplies, desalination plants and the various maintenance and support facilities to keep both the oil and water moving.* The mullahs in Iran are a known quantity of pure evil and there is literally nothing they will not do in the name of their God.

The River War Quotes,
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”

I think anybody might profit from reading the observations of a young military man, young reporter and man solidly grounded in the scientific world created by the science and engineering that flourished in Britain. He wrote this book in 1899 and it is probably the last honest and forthright words written about that part of Africa and the people who made it and lived there. You can find The River War here. Simply read the first chapter.

I can attest to the words he wrote over 120 years ago. Very little has changed in Omdurman or Khartoum and the people not at all. You could say much the same about Egypt, Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, Yemen and even the rest of the Arabian Peninsula. Change and growth are simply incompatible with islam.

Ordinarily I would think them the very last to lay waste to water supplies but they have innovated so magnificently in just the last 20 or 21 months so who knows? Of the mullahs and other evil man controlling the Persian weapons, well, we know them by their actions.

Oh, and if you have family in the arabian peninsula, it might be time to think about having them relocate to someplace a little more blessed with potable surface water. Just saying.

*The effects of inshallah have to be seen to be believed. So, an order to immediately protect infrastructure will make it out of the palace sometime next month, sit on desks for a month or two unless it is vacation time in which case add 2 months and then it will be carefully considered and relatives consulted to see which family member is best positioned to 'win' this bid and make money when he starts building the defenses which will be sometime in late 2029....inshallah.

Maybe we should deploy BOLOS, eh?

Wonder how you'd sound if Operation Spiderweb 2.0 occurred destroying all the gulf of "America" oil facilities.

FAFO goes both ways

If you have taken the time, you would notice that the American oil facilities have already been hampered and throttled almost to death by regulation. California, of course, is leading the pack with refinery closures.

Over the years, requests to upgrade refining facilities were stopped by our regulations. Never mind that the new equipment would be better -- it's we don't want oil.

Realistically, it would significantly hurt the Venezuela connection as Texas and Louisiana were made just for the Venezuelan heavy oil.

Defiant, another outstanding book in this matter is Alarms and Excursions in Arabia by Bertram.

Nihilistic ideologies like islam don't think or act in ways we consider rational. It's one of the reasons the current chapter of our 14 century war with Islam is not going exact as the current administration had planned. Destroying water sources means nothing to muzzies as their goal is death. Death to all of us and if necessary death to themselves. Their agenda is difficult for most westerners to grasp.

Except perhaps people who know they are about to die from lack of potable water in a week or so might decide INVOKING Israel's Sampson nuke strikes by DESTROYING Israels water, grid and nuclear reactor.....

They do have the firepower but seemed restricted by Shia Islam rules of warfare and the survival of their country while driving America out of the Middle East.

Pity is AIPAC would still infest American politics.

Damn....the toilet is dripping again....

If your here Danny, then sure is a leaky toilet.

Don't you get tired of getting embarrassed at Renegades? You post your bombast and get called on it there often.

Most recently for defending your ((tribe)) it seems, want a cross posting here if you forgot?

As I recall from some of the things I heard out of the Office of Net Assessment, most of the platforms in the Gulf are idle. A big chunk belong to Mexico and I'll be real honest here, I don't care. What's left of the 7 Sisters still make money or there would be no working wells in the Gulf. That's their business and I don't have to become involved. You see how that works, right? I'm not on the hook to fix the world's or the union's problems. I'll be concerned when a new administration decides that it needs to 'nationalize' the oil production facilities because that will be the end.

I'll check it out. If he was dealing with ibn Saud he must have had his work cut out for him. That old pirate had the native wit and ruthlessness of a Vanderbilt or Carnegie just way less raw material. That's still the Arab problem. They pretend to work and get paid well for doing it.

The West has mostly known the public face of the arabs and it is quite different from their private countenance. They are very much like the old native tribes in America. They move very swiftly to exterminate their enemies as rapidly as possible and the world moves on and forgets about the dead. There culture is almost incomprehensible to westerners and for sure no liberal has the slightest idea of what they truly are. Every now and then the mask slips and people remember who they're actually dealing with. Under the skin, they are all exactly the same. That is the curse of islam.

The best way to deal with any barbarians like islamics (& nazis) is to be barbaric in turn. They understand that just fine. Unconditional surrender or death by any means including appropriate chemical & bio-agents as well as psych campaigns like mosques as priority targets.

HMS while I cannot deny your Arab comment because it's true enough a few thoughts:

Please name a real issue we had with the Middle East prior to the establishment of Israel.

Please name troubles that were not related to Israel outside of a rather small on the global map OVAL around Israel. All our casualties and incidents fit neatly into the PROTECT ISRAEL oval which BTW for 47 years has been a TWO-WAY STREET so spare me our "innocent" victims BS. Americans shouldn't cry out in pain as we strike other people.

Please note that Iran isn't Arab, it's Persian and unlike Arabs they have an honorable history of kicking butt and not fleeing from Israel-American assaults.

Iran has had the capability to deploy a dirt radioactive bomb since

SNIP
Iran's first nuclear reactor, the Tehran Research Reactor (TRR), went critical in November 1967.
Iran’s initial nuclear reactor, the Tehran Research Reactor (TRR), became operational in November 1967, supplied by the United States under the atoms for peace program
. The reactor was a five-megawatt research reactor and initially operated on uranium enriched to about 93 percent, which was later converted to run on 20 percent enriched uranium in 1993 with fuel supplied by Argentina.

Yet ODDLY for Vicious TERRORISTS killing randomly across the globe (Bullshit) THEY never deployed the most powerful terrorist weapon known that COULD make any City into a worthless mess for decades plus.

WORST TERRORISTS EVER.

Meanwhile ever since the establishment of Israel, Israel has murdered Iran's Leaders, scientists under UN inspector spying, shelled civilians all week long and ACTUALLY HAVE multiple Nukes and ODDLY ICBM's that can reach almost the entire Globe including America.

Sampson Option? Works as a backup to the Epstein Option, eh?

How many Israeli Leaders and Scientists has Iran murdered? How many exploding pagers that crippled many a pager using medical staff in Lebanon did Iran's EVIL NASTY TERRORISTS deploy.

WORST TERRORISTS EVER.

Between Iran and Israel who OWNS the vast bulk of America's CONGRESS?

You might want to read APAIC's OWN freaking Webpage, buddy. They BRAGG about APAIC backed politicians WIN 98% of the time.

It only cost AIPAC some 20 millions of America's recycled taxpayer dollars to BUY Massie's seat. SUCH A DEAL.

Meanwhile the folks around Trump are getting rich making bets on the futures market of Oil BECAUSE they know a few hours before Trump opens his Tweeter what Trump is going to say.

Yeah, I can post links if you like. Awful lot of dual citizenship tribe are making bank on this little war.

The Office of Net Assessment (ONA) was a strategic analysis office within the U.S. Department of Defense, recently disestablished in 2025, known for its long-term military assessments and foresight into future conflicts.

Closed last year. Current Bloomberg reports show some 95% of America's oil facilities are running at full capacity aside from Idiot California's two refineries and one TX refinery shutdown for repairs.
