IF THIS GOES ON

If the Strait of Hormuz remains closed indefinitely,  it looks like Europe will have to come to some sort of modus vivendi with Russia and resume buying oil and gas from them and Russia may agree to the sale but only in exchange for the obvious quid pro quo, recognition of Russia's suzerainty of the territories it has taken by force of arms in Ukraine and a 100% termination of all aid and support to Ukraine by every member of the EU. Since things are coming to an end there anyway this may offer all parties a reasonable climb down from the lofty positions they currently find themselves dangling from.

This was an interesting read.

Awesome, we're winning.

Check back in about a month.

I noticed this data package didn't mention rare earth limitations on resupply of used up missiles and replacement parts for busy F35 fighters.

But apparently we are winning.

Diesel in Germany is now well over $10.00 USD per gallon.

How long before President Trump brings Europe to its knees on the War with Russia?

As if the economy of the world wasn't already precarious. If this goes on long enough the whole mess is like to implode.

You do realize it has been on that direct path since 2000, right? Debts are unsustainable and you know it so when you get a rethuglican congress and they don't even try to increase the defense budget and it's a sign that they finally realize that they have squeezed out the last drop of revenue. The USA is onshoring a lot of lost production and bringing back some important things like pharmaceuticals, steel and the other essential industries.

Now it is all about positioning yourself for the collapse. We are setting up an entire hemisphere to get well together with because the EU simply insane and doesn't even see it coming and we think China is going to implode first.

@ HMS Defiant - It has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with German and European political decisions based on unsound ideological thinking.

As you probably already know, Germany decommissioned all its nuclear power plants. The last three; Isar 2, Emsland, and Neckarwestheim 2 were disconnected from the grid on April 15, 2023.

Currently, we have two huge power plants near Aachen, each producing around 1,300 MW. To support these plants are two enormous open pit lignite "brown coal" mines, all of which has been in operation since the 1950's. However along with all the nuclear plants which have been shut down, the government has decided that this "dirty coal" is too polluting and both the mines and power plants be closed in 2029.

The mines will be filled with water, partially by shutting off the pumps, and partially by routing water from the Rhein river. It will take 50 years to turn them into 470-meter/1,500 feet deep lakes. And then they will then create water parks and recreation areas for the public.

The power plants will be replaced with solar and wind. So they are busy convincing farmers to "re-wild" their farms and turn them into solar fields. It will be interesting to see how many farmers fields will be converted from food production into energy farms. So not only will Germany not have enough electricity to keep the lights on, they won't have enough food to feed their population.

Considering how much sun and wind we have here, especially in winter, what could possibly go wrong? :-\

If you enter these coordinates into Google maps and zoom out a bit, you can see the mines -

To dig all that coal are a number of 100-meter tall bucket Wheel diggers that mine the coal and feed it directly to the power plants on a highway of conveyor belts. You might find this of interest -

Destroy energy, eliminate food production, declare war on the nation that can give you both.

Oh and import savages from failed Muslim countries.

Can you spell serf?

And thus, my premise that Trump threw the dice like Imperial Japan to reverse the failures. Sad laughs look at the "I'm getting Cuba" BS from him.

Like adding a crippled mostly destroyed Cuba would add anything helpful to our staggering economy.

The saddest thing about this incredible scheme is that it basically is the Morganthau plan for Germany after World War II. He was going to have us turn Germany into a pastoral land without manufacturing, industry, power and keep the people down forever and to see the Germans doing it to themselves just hurts.

Follow the money, sir.

Failing businesses move to a safer country ahead like "Investments IN America " per Trump.

American liquid natural gas is selling in the EU for a PREMIUM well over price in America. Yeah, I own stock in that industry.

Cripple the EU,Cripple China and ring fence Russia seems to be the plan.

Actually she did cover rare earth in her article. Along with her upfront position that she is not a military analyst.
