The USA is now embarked on a course of removing its enemies and it is interestingly roughly the same path now being trodden by Russia but there is one major difference which is surprising to me. When we decide to go to war, the first thing that we do is to remove the enemy leadership and then we do. Russia had a lash at that with the Special Military Operation but they probably would have been better served by sending a couple of dozen missiles and fighter bombers downtown instead of a couple of airborne and tank divisions. Maybe they'll learn from us and invest in something like our Delta Force. They could call it spetznatz or something like that.... Oh, and they'll need a killer Air Force.
I see reports that up to 3 of our fighters have been shot down over Kuwait 'by accident' by 'Kuwaiti fire control' and I suspect we all know what that is. OTGH, we have grown to expect that sort of thing from our allies over there. If it's not one of them, it's all the rest of them.
And now we know what was in all those strategic lift aircraft missions that headed over to the middle east over the last week or two. Who knew? Meet LUCAS.

I believe these are the first F-15's ever shot down. I don't like the explanation from our "ally".
I've become so jaded and cynical that I think we should just become Vikings: make war profitable. Take their fucking oil and let's have 99¢ gas again.
Meanwhile the price of gas in Germany just jumped 10-Cents per liter over night. It's now €1.82/liter for diesel. At current exchange rates that's about $2.13 per liter or around $8.52 per gallon! I wish we had California prices.
Zero credibility to our jets being downed by friendly fire - maybe Kuwaiti, but I'm sure sympathizers. Agree with the action or not, we are in the deepest fog of war ever. Competing countries, competing muzz branches, etc. Buckle up and trust no one.

One might be accidental. Three....enemy action by muzzies sympathetic to Iran. And while I don't think we have any business in the sand box the ugly reality is that the fanatics running Iran want ALL OF US DEAD. And to implement that they have been seeking nuclear weapons. While we can't be sure how close to success they have been they eventually would have succeeded. And once they had a sufficient number they would have used them. Their "god" DEMANDS they kill us...so they would. That makes anything we do to thwart that effort reasonable and acceptable. Beyond that...to hell with the middle east.

Second is the China rare earth issue. They stopped selling us rare earths critical to F35 fighters (really all aircraft) missiles and high tech some time ago.
INTERESTING we COPIED Iran's flying lawnmower drone for mass attacks. Maybe because it requires NO RARE EARTHS?
We grabbed Venezuela and the Panama Canal from China and now am stopping China's oil supply from Iran.
I think Trumps idea is grabbing that oil CRITICAL for China means China has to sell us rare earths for oil as he learned that it will take years maybe decades to rebuild America's rare earth supply system.
Trump is betting they run out of missiles before we run out of missile interceptors.
Pity we killed the only man in Iran that stopped his hardliners from building nukes for DECADES and agreed that Shia Islam says you must stop attacking when your enemy surrenders.
The HARDLINERS are in charge now.
Pray for our sailors put into perhaps a Pearl Harbor scenario where a false flag USS Liberty event can happen to force America to deploy nukes.
It is a common Western mistake to believe, somehow, that there is this fabled mythic beast they call a moderate islamist. There really is no such animal. If you scratch the surface of even the most moderate muslim you find that they believe totally in death to apostates and all the other things in the Koran and hadith and you can wonder that they could believe such nonsense and still be alive but consider the endless streams of gays and lesbians here in America who think they would find welcoming arms and a home in Palestine. The will to believe is almost impossible to understand if you don't believe anything. Ignorance is the most powerful tool for evil that I know of.
