Not much is beyond Clown World's desperation not to "lose" to Russia.
I think this time there might be an actual full and frank discussion of the endless EU attacks on Russia and President Trump will be inducted into the club of people who perfectly understand that any pause or ceasefire is not a peace settlement but a pause to rearm and then immediately resume hostilities at the whim of the losing the side.
The only way a ceasefire can play out is if Trump guarantees that nobody will rearm Ukraine and that Ukraine will disarm. That will never happen so the war will go on and it will be like the League of Nation's nonsense attempts to stop the war in Ethiopia and China in the 1930s.
I think we will finally see the decapitation strikes but States picking off the rulers of other States is a very bad road to go down. It is not as bad as all out unrestricted warfare and the bombing of cities. It will just lead to that sort of thing.
I doubt Putin will be willing to give up much if anything. Russia has already suffered massive losses in his pointless war. Backing down could cost Putin so much politically that he loses power. Add in the fact to that Zelensky is unlikely to accept ANY agreement that doesn't require a complete Russian withdrawal and I'm not sure I see any positive outcomes from this. But Trump has a habit of doing things that don't seem possible so we shall see. But the odds are stacked again him.
Far from pointless war for Russia. But you will never understand that.
This is the Cuban Missile Crisis for Russia. JFK had to OVERULE the military who wanted war (WE HAD then and STILL HAVE WIN A NUKE WAR Plans) and instead got OUR Nuke Missiles in Turkey quietly removed and the USSR removed theirs.
Nuclear decapitation strike was the Turkey Missiles, so the USSR put THEIR ability to do the same in Cuba.
Putin is NOT going to allow Azov Brigade tatted up Nazis to attack HIS People and NOT going to allow NATO-USA to have even more ability to nuke decapitate his country.
