CARRY ON WOE AND DESPAIR

I knew that nothing we could do would change it and I knew that nothing we ever did could kill it but I am getting a bit of a kick out of the poor pitiful us guilt trip that one of my local PBS channels is laying on us all up here on the North Coast. It is truly pathetic. This is shown/broadcast for seemingly hours every night to remind us of the great tragedy.

The shillagoths on NPR are only slightly less pitiful and only moan every hour or so about their desperate need for money before going to commercial breaks and it does make you wonder if they ever think of themselves as a commercial enterprise that sells advertising and should be able to find a way to carry on just from taking money from those willing to part with it in order to hear people shout every minute of the day about the extreme right wing fanatics and extremists! To be honest, I don't think it ever occurs to a single one of them that they are for all intents and purposes, fully commercial broadcasters with an attitude for it's listeners that only the BBC could love.

One does wonder if anyone is ever going to notice that these idiots are pointing their biggest fans at an online ap that would simply obviate the whole need or requirement for a local transmitter, tower, studio, executives to manage it and techs to run it.

Defiant, it is a push to keep the invective rolling for a few more years until our worthless congress starts the money stream for NPR again.

Don't forget the engineers and draftsmen.

If NOR and PBS cannot succeed without tax dollars they deserve...and need...to fail.
