Ripped off from Ace of Spades.
This rings a bell. It is fascinating to watch the world turning into good little NAZIs overnight and not from some fear of the cunning or dangerous enemy but over a bug that is slightly more dangerous than the flu. No wonder il Duce, Franco, Peron, Hitler and Stalin got their worlds to dance to their tune. They provided the score, the music, the musicians and a nice utterly harmless enemy that could be overwhelmed by Karens and others who want to feel good about oppressing other people.

One of my sisters has guzzled the Kool Aid. It is so easy to find people who will happily do so.
I have to wonder in in a year or two, the Covidiots will realize how horrible they behaved and thought.
spot on... pretty profound. This has been there in front of us the whole time, but you don't see it until you see it. If you see it; most of the people I work with will never see it and will actively not see it, now that they're invested in being "good people". Not inspiring, is it?
We entertained the other day and I sat in a room of polite people as another kool aid drinker expounded on the current situation, none of us troubling to try to change her mind.
That's a future post because right now it looks like we can condemn 99% of the medical community for digging in on the mystical science of covid strategy much as they did the Tuskeegee and Hepatitus C "scientific" studies of the 30's and 40's.
Nope. Somebody akin to Ken Burns will make the documentary of this period in 50 or 80 years and the viewers will, hopefully, be aghast at the moronic simplicity of all involved in this man-made disaster.
There probably wouldn't have been much point. Progressivism is a religion, and believers take great comfort in it.
