THE TUNE UP

It looks like an early appraisal of what happened draws fire. They always do when they're honest.

One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.

Sums up data analyst interpretation of who is voting and coming out.

So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the GOP voters were really pissed off this time.

Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.

They voted for the other half of the uniparty since once again the thuglicans let them down 100%across the board and pissed away majorities in the House and Senate that could have been used to accomplish all the things the voters told Trump and the Republican Party they wanted done.

There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.

Fresh from Ignorance is Bliss. It wasn't the economy. It was 100% failure to legislate. The voters held the legislature accountable.  And if we're being honest, it might be time to be honest with the country and tell them just how any force on earth could fix an economy with this deficit, national debt, interest payment due on that debt, mushrooming entitlement spending and the FED screwing the money supply so much that they have entirely gamed inflation and made the $ worthless.

But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.

Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:

Single stupid and obvious point of failure. A pollster is only as good as..........? What exactly? Everyone now knows that they make it up, fake it, lie about it and ask the wrong questions. Vance says he asked one pollster. That's not science or inquiry, that's myth, lies and voodoo all rolled up in one person.

1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel

Charming. We better hope and pray our Statesmen get more on the ball about running for office because if that list is what they use going forth, we're screwed.

There is a war but we are pinning our hopes on prevailing by imposing a blockade. Blockades always work. They never fail. They destroy the enemy but they take time. It takes shooting to establish one, more to maintain it, but once it is in place it is devastatingly effective. Some recent examples to demonstrate:

The North Sea Blockade of Germany squeezed the Germans to death and we kept squeezing long after the Germans signed the Armistice to starve them into submitting to the stupidest peace treaty in history, the Treaty of Versailles which locked in and guaranteed World War II would follow immediately once the generation of fighting men reached the age to be drafted and thrown into War.

The Union's blockade of the Confederacy was decisive in ending the war. It took a long time but the war materials, munitions and goods that the Confederacy had to have in order to stand any chance of winning dried up and vanished shortly after the blockade went into place.

The USN blockade of the Japanese home islands destroyed their war machine and their ability to make war and feed themselves. The entire world except North and South America was on the brink of mass famine in 1945 and only exceptional efforts from the USA saved Europe and Japan from the wars they started.

Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)

There is no diplomatic resolution to a war of this nature. It is an existential war and the one war of our time. When the mullahs get the bomb they will use it. 9/11 and the following attacks should show even the stupidest and most brain dead dolt where they're going to use the bombs they get first. I wonder how many right of center people went ahead and voted in the communists, socialists, demagogues, liars, knaves and thieves because deep down they know that when Iran gets the bomb they're going to redecorate Manhattan and DC with them.

If I was a Saudi, the Emir of Dubai, or a denizen of Tel Aviv, I'd be concerned about three other places they'd bomb in a heartbeat but then I don't live in Riyadh, Dubai or Tel Aviv and there is no particular reason I can think of for any American to worry about the fates of cities overseas when we really don't care that much for any of our own cities.

In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.

The Solution as you call it was to go in to the Senate and the House and tell them to push through the Legislation that they had promised the voters and to do it smoothly, professionally and speedily. The Democrats are going to bless everyone in the world with amnesty and reopen the floodgates of USAID to help everyone on the planet except working Americans. The voters know that.

The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.

No, it wasn't the war. Even the dumbest of dumb voters knows that the war is the President's War and they wouldn't have held the legislators accountable for that unless they clearly saw that their legislators had done nothing in the last two years but FUCK THEM OVER.

But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Here in metroparkcentralis we were given our choice of a scheming weasel for Governor or a deepest of deep state insider to vote for and their ONLY campaign ads, which were endless and identical, did nothing but hurl venom and distortions at their opponents without ever once telling the voters a single reason to vote for them. I saw 22,000 ads for the two of them and not once did they offer me a reason to go out and vote for the weasel or the deep state two faced lying bastard who did nothing for two years in the Senate. (note: I still voted for them. Almost anything is better than what we got)

The Pseudo-War brought out the Democrats but they vote like insane ignorant morons every time so their vote for idiocies like socialism, communism and islam were perfectly normal but the thing that really bothered as all, even those of us who held our noses and voted for the weasel and useless drone was that the PARTY offered no realistic alternatives and what we had here was repeated in every single State. The Ruthuglicans put up shitty worthless candidates or offered known liars, drones and weasels and we knew it.

It's a pity there is no Quality Control in the Party to weed out the unsuitable resourced scumbags and losers.  If only there was some popular grass-roots effort to build the Party from the ground up and choose good candidates to the people for their review and confirmation.

So, there you have the inside scoop on what really happened Tuesday and I didn't even get into the vast cheating and chicanery. The Republican Party leaders in Congress had your chance to make things right and as usual, they blew it.

JE REGRETTE RIEN

It is not quite over and yet,

You know all the losers are still voting members of Congress so now they could do something almost unique in the annals of the Rethuglican Party and vote their consciences and perhaps bring us the SAVE Act and maybe one or two other things that the Rethuglicans promised and never delivered. Or they could leave having done nothing but earn the contempt of literally every American.

I'd like to think they could do the interesting thing, but then I'm an optimist.

ON LEADERSHIP

I noted last night that the USS Spruance deployed November 21, 2025 and she is still, on assignment and deployed to somewhere in the vicinity of the Indian Ocean. I'm afraid the article at Navy Times was distinctly unhelpful in reporting where the ship might be but did let me know that it had deployed to the IO and North Arabian Sea with the Lincoln Battle Group. At any rate, the good ship is still deployed after almost 354 days. That's a long time in that part of the world. Ask me how I know.

At any rate, the ship and a few others are defining the difference between show navies and navies that can endure. I'm pretty sure that Spruance is not tied up in Jebel Ali or even Fujairah and certainly not spending time pierside in Bahrain. With any luck no dimwit at the State Department will suggest it make a Brief Stop for Fuel in Aden or spread the joy in Mogadishu. Nope, odds are they pull off the line and spend a week in Djibuout. Poor bastards.

It is not too hard for me to see the kind of leadership challenge the ship faces after its Battle Group melted away and left it holding the bag all alone in the North Arabian Sea. Oh sure it has company but it deployed as part of a Battle Group that Third Fleet extensively trained, evaluated, and certified as fully mission capable and interoperable with the Lincoln Battle Group. Nobody said anything about shopping it to another group or leaving it to steam independently. On the other hand, that's the USN.

The real stress to the crews that I experienced in the Gulf were the open ended return dates. It was nothing to this unmarried lieutenant but the married guys and those that wanted a hell of a lot more out of life really wanted to KNOW when they could be expected to head home.

Keeping this kind of warship at Iran's front door for this long is a testament to the leadership on the ship, the dedication and truly hard work of the crew and the efforts of those sustaining the ships out there. It is regrettable that this is sometimes necessary and the most regrettable part is that not all the ships and men can reach this pinnacle of sustained effort. What that means is that even more falls on the shoulders of those who can.

That's the hidden aspect that nobody ever talks about. It only takes one little mistake to push the ship off the line and back to port. Keeping those mistakes from happening is the real triumph of good leadership. I would call this type of leadership motivational. People don't fear the consequences anymore so it takes more than threats, it takes an appeal to the qualities that make for good sailors and good men and women. I'm gratified to see that they are still serving with distinction.

I would be fascinated to see if the USN holds a change of command for the Captain while his ship is deployed or if they let the current CO bring her home.  This sort of thing makes a huge dent in everybody's plans and the effects ring down the months and years ahead.

MOTIVATOR

While you’re reading there are thousands of Americans and other people who live here who are voting for tyranny. They have, between them, never had an original idea or thought of their own. Their choices in life were always dictated by others and every single one of them thinks they are striking a blow for democracy and roughly half of them think that if you disagree with them on anything, you belong in a camp.

There is no way short of violence to change their minds and we forsook that path a long time ago. It’s important to keep in mind though that they have not.

Voted yet?

AN IDOL WONDER

Nobody ever really examines the fleet that builds an officer like Captain Jean Luc Picard so I thought I would helpfully point out that if Picard was the ideal star fleet captain the fleet would have produced thousands of officers with much of the same judgement, experience, acumen and traits that Picard displayed so effortlessly while in command in his fictional starship.

I always compare the men to the Fleets they came from and the interesting thing about the Royal Navy for generation after generation was that it produced not one Nelson or one Rodney or one Hood, but that it produced thousands of them. When Nelson entered into battle with the combined French and Spanish fleets at Trafalgar his orders were simplicity beyond our ken today. They were:

"Prepare for battle"

"England expects that every man will do his duty"

"Engage the enemy more closely"

Every officer on every one of the Royal Navy's ships knew what to do and how to do it.

You wouldn’t think a naval officer would derive all that much benefit from an MBA or PhD from a place as awful as Harvard. It might prepare an officer for dealing with the smug idiots in Congress but that kind of flagellation has been greatly reduced since the days this dolt asked questions of unbelievable stupidity and ignorance. Have you considered if too many Marines will cause Guam to flip over?

A MORT OF DIFFERENCE

We will see how it goes down now that the AGENTS have raided the home of Omar and brought out heaps and boxes of evidence and contrast with what happened when the FBI raided Epstein's Island and his house and his offices and..... You see, I expect the Ilhan Omar case to go to trial and hopefully in a jurisdiction where the result is not predetermined. It will probably look a lot less like what happened when the bulk of the Epstein evidence vanished into the Southern District of New York and found nobody at all interested in looking into any of the evidence. As with the FBI everywhere, the goal was to conceal malfeasance and crime, not find it and punish it.

We really need to get rid of the FBI and the super intelligence agencies. No current employees should be allowed to work at them. It might help to put some men with integrity in charge of them for a few years to get them off to a proper start. They've been missing that for decades.

ON POLAND

Making sense of the current tangle is not being aided by the absolute shower of crap that is our media. I looked a little further into the issue and the bare bones are from Notes From Poland:

The standoff between the government and opposition-aligned President Karol Nawrocki over Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal (TK) deepened today, as Maciej Berek, whom Prime Minister Donald Tusk recently described as his “right-hand man”, took his oath as a new judge without the presence of the president. Berek is now the fifth judge to take their oath without presidential approval. The previous four have been denied entry to the TK, and speculation is rife that the government may soon take action to ensure that the excluded judges are able to take up their positions.
Under Polish law, a new TK judge must swear an oath “before the president”. However, since Berek was elected to the TK by the government’s majority in parliament in early September, Nawrocki has refused to swear him in. The president claims that Berek has not presented evidence that he meets the statutory requirement of having practiced as a legal counsel for at least 10 years. Berek says he has done so. Nawrocki has also expressed his opposition to the fact that Berek has gone from serving in Tusk’s cabinet, where he was minister in charge of overseeing the implementation of policy, to becoming a TK judge.
Even some members of Tusk’s ruling coalition opposed Berek’s candidacy, saying that it contradicted the government’s earlier pledges to “depoliticise” the judicial system, including by banning anyone who had served as a politician in the last four years from becoming a TK judge.
With no invitation from Nawrocki forthcoming, on Wednesday morning Berek instead swore his oath at a ceremony organised in parliament. He declared that he was directing the oath towards the president, despite Nawrocki not being present.
The development came a day after the Venice Commission, an advisory body to the Council of Europe on constitutional law, had issued an opinion effectively supporting the government’s position on the crisis around the TK. The commission found that the Polish president should swear in TK judges chosen by parliament “without delay” and does not have the power to review their election. It added that, if the president refuses to receive a judge’s oath, they are justified in taking it without him being present. The opinion was welcomed by Tusk and his government. However, Nawrocki’s spokesman, RafaÅ‚ LeÅ›kiewicz, pointed out that the Venice Commission’s opinions are advisory and not legally binding.
Earlier this year, four other TK judges chosen by parliament similarly organised their own swearing-in ceremony in parliament after Nawrocki failed to invite them to take their oaths before him. However, when they arrived at the TK to take up their positions, they were prevented from doing so by the court’s chief justice, Bogdan ÅšwiÄ™czkowski, who was appointed under the former Law and Justice (PiS) government (and had previously served as a minister in that government). ÅšwiÄ™czkowski argues that the judges cannot take up their positions unless they swear an oath in the presence of Nawrocki, who was elected as president last year with the support of PiS.
In May, the European Court of Human Rights ordered that the four judges be accepted onto the TK. However, ÅšwiÄ™czkowski has so far refused to comply, arguing that the ECHR does not have the authority to make such a decision. Since replacing PiS in office in December 2023, Tusk’s government has refused to recognise the legitimacy of the TK, pointing to the fact that some of its judges were unlawfully appointed under PiS. It has ignored all rulings issued by the tribunal. Until this year, the ruling coalition refused to fill new vacancies that resulted from the expiration of judges’ nine-year terms or their retirement. However, that position changed in March, when it began filling the backlog. So far this year, parliament has chosen eight new judges, meaning that its candidates in theory now have a majority on the 15-person court. However, Nawrocki has only sworn in three of those judges, with the other refused entry to the TK.

We really find the amusing bit here in the history of Polish Constitutional efforts:

The Constitution of 1791 and the Polaniec manifesto Poland’s first written constitution was proposed on 3 May 1791, making it the second oldest written constitution in the world. The constitution stipulated the decentralization of state power and emphasized the notion of division of powers whilst at the same time providing for a system of checks and balances.
The Sejm was the official legislative branch, consisting of two chambers, the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. Aware of the inefficient structure of government of the past, the outcome of an all powerful legislative, the constitution aimed at limiting the powers of the parliament in order to balance it to the other branches of the state.
For example, the liberum veto, a parliamentary device in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth which had formerly required unanimity in the decision making process, was abolished.
Moreover, the constitution put an end to royal elections by restoring the system of a hereditary monarchy. Only in effect for a short period, the 1791 constitution became a symbol of Poland’s national identity and strengthened the thought of a special connection between Catholicism and constitutionalism, due to the declaration of the supremacy of Catholicism in the constitution.
The Constitution of 1791 was followed by the Polaniec Manifesto on 7 May 1794, which represents a famous legal document of the Polish uprising against its Russian occupiers, who invaded the country in 1792. The Manifesto intended to motivate the peasantry to fight for the freedom of Poland by granting peasants broad civil liberties, most of which had not been included in the constitution of 1791.

The tyranny of the Courts or the imbalance of power has led to the ruin of most places in Europe and those places that were colonized and brought into existence by the European Kings and their minions. People always forget that the Court was the invention of the Kings to put the appearance of judicial restraint and fairness in front of the people as if it was something real when it was obvious even to the dolts of yore that the Court was simply an extension of the Monarch.

We keep seeing democrats (little d) trying to wedge a powerful court into the system of government as if that is somehow going to act as a universal restraint on tyranny and it obviously won't because the courts are stuffed with men and women who have their damned opinions and backgrounds and understandings and are also, of course, wholly in the grip of the men who appointed them. (Yes, even in the USA the independent judiciary is a myth maintained by the massive efforts by all parties to hide the truth. The courts act as extensions of the State and do the Will of the State. Some people have a really hard time understanding that the State is far more then a written Constitution, bicameral legislature and a president.)

The veneer is really peeling off the judiciary everywhere these days. Everyone everywhere has forgotten that the whole idea of the independent judiciary was to CONCEAL who was actually running the State. The idiot judges became absolutely insane in their indifference to hiding their intent or who they really work for and it is really doing some damage to the idea of Constitutional democracy.

I have to admit, locking up the opposition and forbidding the people to have any meaningful choice in government is simply an open invitation to bloodshed. As I recall, when it gets to the point where nothing is believed and 96% of the people are poodles, the game turns to anarchy and simple destruction of the ruling class. Politics and progress are not even on the table. It's all now down to making them suffer. A lot.

You'll have some idea of where you stand on the scale of true government 'by the people/for the people' if you simply look at who appears in public with obvious bodyguards. When the judges need bodyguards, it's over.

You know, those idiots could consider bringing back the The Golden Bull. Scroll down to the very bottom of the linked document and read the final paragraph. Oh, wait. The EU already brought back the Golden Bull. If you read the whole text, it is obvious.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This was the night you were going to get some?

MILITANT INDIFFERENCE

I wonder what would happen if this administration just took to ignoring every single idiotic stupid judicial decision handed down by these petty trash judges and told them all to get lost. I can see the little tyrants getting all bent out of shape and then doing what they do and firing off a thousand million injunctions and contempt orders and that's when the bitch slap of reality as we now know it catches up and simply issues blanket Presidential pardons for all involved, signed by the Autopen.

This is kind of like asking what is the speed of dark.

On the other hand, The I of Newton by Joe Haldeman springs to mind.

And on the gripping hand, it is long passed time to straighten out with the judges just how a Constitutional Republic is governed and oddly enough, it is not by some dim-witted bunch of hack judges.

A ROUND TRIP TO THE COASTS

I was a longtime denizen of California. I used to commute between the Bay Area and San Diego for about 15 years. I would fly Southwest because that was unbeatable and then sometimes after I got used to it, I would drive either my VW bus or BMW convertible simply because it is an awesome drive and I had the time and inclination to drive.

Now I live in Metroparkcentralis and while the roads here are acceptable and way better then what I-5 has turned into, the interstates going through Pennsylvania are still awful. They've been awful since I went to school in State College and they have never gotten any better. They blame trucks but I blame a system riddled at every level by corruption and indolence.

That said, driving on I-68 is a real pleasure. Rolling hills and not a single speed trap anywhere, not even in Cumberland where they could legitimately bust everyone for speeding and driving like a maniac.  At Hancock we turn our faces away from proceeding further east into the Capital Beltway and dodge it by driving sedately through the upper Shenandoah Valley and running down 7 until we get near McLean.

When I think what a long and miserable experience it was to drive from State College on I-80 to either Dover, New Jersey or Detroit I just lean back into the seat and enjoy the feeling of driving 80 miles an hour over a smooth pavement with plenty of swoops, turns, rises and falls and a scenic rolling countryside. People who don't drive long distance have no idea how much country there is and how much of it is virtually unchanged for the last 100 years.

One of the curious things about the last month of driving was how all the way from Seattle to Metroparkcentralis I saw a grand total of 3 cops lying in wait on the road and all 3 of them were spotted after we crossed back into Ohio from Seattle. On the trip this last weekend there was just one and I think he was asleep. I don't know what the highway patrol is doing these days, but I approve.

One of the things you come to appreciate as you drive through the places of commerce and industry is how little attachment they have anymore to the City. As far as I can tell there is no industry or defense contracting happening anywhere near an industrial age city in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, midwest or West and none at all in California. Just about every significant industrial concern has picked up and moved away from the leaches and politicians that have made our urban centers so unwelcoming.

I drive around metroparkcentralis and the bones of an enormous industrial age city are still there to be seen but none of it is working anymore except a few furnaces down in the river valley. All the old factories and mills are wrecked and ruined buildings in various states of collapse and weed choked broken concrete covered tracts where the old buildings were demolished or allowed to fall in on themselves in what was once the sixth wealthiest city in the United States and thus, one of the richest cities in the world.

What Europe is now undergoing with its insane immigration polices is, in a lot of ways, an exact repeat of what the United States went through about 100 years ago when the Great Migration hit its stride and six million share croppers in the old Confederacy picked up stakes and moved themselves north and took up residence in Cleveland, Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York and the other large cities of the Industrial Revolution. It left a dent that will never buff out. On the gripping hand, that is the nature of history. It is all about the ebb and flow.

THE LONG DREAMED OF WAR

It’s not that those tasked with writing war plans dream of war but we do think about it a lot more than other people. Since we’re Americans we have a lot of war plans that go through a review and update process that some people might find troubling. I am amazed these days that we get any kind of operational surprise when we shift to kinetic operations and deliver attacks on the enemy. I guess I became a little jaded by the staggering number of traitors wearing the uniform who proved more than willing to sell or give away our plans and attempt to destroy options over the last 25 years.

I’m glad to see that things are once again moving in the direction that surprise endows with success. The capacity for holding an Alpha strike up the sleeve while waiting for the political smoke and fury to work themselves out by electing new law-dodgers is fundamental to the Quick War strategy.

On the other hand, there may well be no fell intent to lay waste to Iran on the 7th of November…

UPDATE:

There are generals and admirals of this low caliber at every level in the military today and every damned one of them is absolutely convinced that he/she has a "DUTY" to speak truth to power even if it means committing treason, 'for the greater good and because orange man bad.' These are despicable people and it is not one or two, there are literally thousands of them.

NEW BRASIL

Brasil is showing the rest how it is done. I don't expect the elections or the results to be much different anywhere in Europe over the next month or two and the Courts judges there will also ensure that the losers are all promptly locked up. It proves true again. You can vote communism in, you cannot vote it out.

ONCE THERE WAS A GIANT

I expect that Elon Musk will disconnect all of Ukraine from Starlink sometime this week. They were given a forerunner and then the service appeared to be restored. The damning and the recriminations and the mellow harshing were allowed to run their course and the course ran over some very stony ground of hatred, disdain and stupidity. That was a mistake.

Everyone remember how the democrats used deplatforming as a tool to punish guide their enemies to correct thought? As I recall, democrats are damned near universal in declaring their sovereign right to deplatform: speakers, students, weapon makers and sellers, republicans, people they don't like and everyone remembers how Twitter deplatformed a sitting President for thought crimes and things they heartily hate.

I think Elon Musk is going to turn off Starlink and deplatform Ukraine and he won't turn it back on. Why would he?

I'm pretty sure that 96% of Americans and 99% of Europeans don't understand just how easy it is for the professional and technical class to simply make things not work. Or maybe enough of the anti-democratic forces do understand and that's why they destroyed nuclear power energy and gas for domestic energy supply sources. Power itself can hold a government hostage or at least break one. At any rate, all Musk has to do is make things not work for awhile. It will be interesting, the conniptions we go through to nationalize industries and enslave their work force.

BEEB LOGIC

I was trying to install 4 windows yesterday and took a little break for a cup of coffee and the news. It was the Beeb and I know better but I still got a kick out of their relentless, desperate effort to portray everything they hate in the worst light possible. It goes without saying that Orange Man Bad ruled the day but they also wanted to beat up and assassinate poor President Putin for his wanton aggression for merely providing aid and comfort to those poor ethnic Russians left behind when the Ukrainians rolled over them at the breakup of the USSR. Well, I thought it was amusing....

Anyway, the Beeb elects to portray the Russian acts only by the light of pure evil and malice but as they talked it struck me, you know who the real aggressor was in both World War I and World War II? Yep, Great Britain was the one who declared war on Germany! They declared war first! They started both Wars!!!

I think Marshall McLuhan would be appalled by what has become of television and especially the news. On the gripping hand, neither can really stand up to reason or rational thought. Which brings to mind the 10 mile long recumbent 'statue' of a man that Spider Robinson wrote about in one of his tales from Callahan's Place.

IN OLD DELAWARE

Found on a building last week in old Delaware. I would have happily paid a quarter to hear them speak.

That's quite a bit more than I'd be willing to pay today to hear anybody speak on the first topic and far more than I'd pay to hear any current serving general speak about anything. OK, except that one guy who was Deputy Commander of TRADOC back in 2000. He was a fascinating orator.

By the by, the 3rd floor of the building this was on would have seated about 100 people, tops. The days before amplifiers and loud speakers could be hard on public speakers.

THE SECOND WAVE

We are closing in on the launch of the 2nd Wave and I wonder if it will be delivered as much by our aircraft as by our long range attack drones. We have had, after all, something like 6 months now to figure out how to mass produce something so basic and easy that everyone except Palestinians can make them in their back yard so we must have several hundred thousand armed suicide drones ready to hit targets all along the Front in Iran.

I'll be curious to see if any wander off course and take out a few objectives in Terrorland and see what, if anything, is worth actually blowing up in Yemen. I mean, if it was me, I'd probably go for a wipeout on their airports, seaports and C4I because the one thing we all know is that they have a lot of C4I. It is demanded by the very nature of the war they are waging.

It will be interesting to see if these drones are all being mass produced in the Kingdom and this is why NOEM collapsed so dramatically overnight. All the resources for that mega project were diverted to building the factories and facilities to build hundreds of thousands of drones. Yes, yes, that's perfectly believable. There is a problem of course. It is one we faced a long time ago.

Conversation in the targeting facility in Taif:

"We need to hit that with another 120 attack drones!"
"Why for God's sake do we need to hit it again? We already hit with 5381 drones!"
"We need to be sure! And, we have 200,000 of the damned things, we need to use them."

You remember the conversation in Cheyenne Mountain back in the day, it ran like this:

"We need to hit Sverdlosk with another nuke."
"Why for Christ's sake, we already hit it with 6 of the damned things."
"We have 67,000 of the damned things and orders from the top are to use them all!"

Back when we were still guided by INCSEA and a suspicion that the Big War might just not happen we still measured the dead and wounded by that war in the hundreds of thousands. Red Storm Rising was a realistic appraisal of some of the costs of that war if it ever came off and here we are engaged in a damned near full blown war with rival powers and the restless natives are broken-hearted, bitter and angry that we have lost almost as many soldiers to this war as we might lose in a bus accident.

The forces have rearmed and replenished and it is coming time to close in to the coast and launch another salvo. Of course, now that the Space Command has been heard from and announced the weaponization of space I'm wondering what we're going to hit with the Rods from God and as the scientist said, 'now we'll see if the damned things work!'

LEGAL SUICIDE PACT

Everyone can see that the problem with unrestrained, uncontrolled entry by millions of young men into Europe and North America and while they still call it an immigration problem it is obviously an invasion. The problem we have is that there is no way to fix this problem without thoroughly revising governments in all the countries involved and tossing out the idiotic strictures imposed by legal bozos in the EU's legal sewer.

The people everywhere can elect the nationalist party and leader of their choice and they can pass decrees or even write laws declaring that all the immigrants must go back and that is when the courts and judges will all very bravely stand up for the rapists, the murderers, the looters, the rioters and the killers. They will tell the people and the governments that they cannot do that thing. That's it. There will be no other words to justify their decision and they expect that they will be obeyed.

That's what happened every time there was a revolution. The rulers thought they commanded and the people obeyed. We have learned that our real masters are the judges and they all believe that they have some God bestowed right to tell us what we may and may not do.

On the other hand, after watching the riots tonight in France I would say they are just a few inches away from calling in the Army. For France that is going to be just about impossible. You know why of course, because the Army led its own little revolution against de Gaulle and the State when the French turned and ran from their colonial possessions in North Africa. This was the end of the dismal 50's when France began to learn that it was an insignificant and pretty damned unimportant member of NATO and nothing else. They had lost Indochina and then they lost their North African possessions and then their own army turned on them.  They had to bring back de Gaulle, scrap the 4th Republic and paste together the 5th Republic.

That kind of nemesis is what they are faced with now. They are joined in their misery by their co-idiots in Germany, Spain, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. The others feel the pinch. The only solution that will work is expulsion and the judges will refuse to countenance that and that will be compounded by Africa refusing to take them back.

There is a good chance the Europeans can ship the muslims back to their point of origin but again, the courts and the judges are not going to permit this. Everyone everywhere except the People are going to want to just kick this can a little further down the road. The problem they have is that the people doing all the killing, looting and destruction don't see any benefit at all in stopping. They only get more and better stuff if they keep sticking it to the infidels. Look for that to continue for years.

Turkey was a major cause of the violence and the rioting and they will do everything they can to make the EU pay for not admitting them to the Union. This is all going to make the little pussy steps of BREXIT look like a walk in the park and the amusing part is that by and large, the socialists in Europe did this to themselves. Nobody held a gun to their head or anything. They simply did what they thought was right and they did it because deep down they all know that those other people, deep down, are just like them.

They have no idea at all and sadly, they want to make you pay for their failure to comprehend. The amusing thing here is to read as the patron class over there continues to poo poo the damage and continue to insist that everything is just fine in this, the best of all possible worlds. We read Candide. We have an idea how bad it can get and it can get so much worse. When Voltaire wrote Candide in 1759 he lived in France which was still routinely attacked by the Barbary pirates sailing out of North African ports until 1830. Nothing has changed, people just think so.

To make any kind of a start on the current problem we're going to have to start with the judges and courts. That is revolutionary whether from the top or from the bottom. And who thought they were living in a Revolutionary Age?

OK, I LAUGHED

The internet humor caught up today and I admit, I laughed. Those condemned by God, he makes the world laugh at really does apply to both France and Canada these days. People didn't use to laugh at the France of Richelieu or Lois XIV. much. On the other hand, neither of them were socialist idiots hated by the Almighty.

The lackwits running Western Europe may now finally begin to understand why absolutely NO ARAB or MUSLIM country allowed Palestinians to settle in their countries. Unlike the damned idiots running England, France, Germany the Nordics et al, they saw what the Palestinians did and tried to do in both Jordan and Kuwait and said "NO!!!!!" They built walls to keep them out. They shoot them if they get too enthusiastic about murdering everybody they hate. Only idiots let in a virus that lethal and pretend not to notice it as it turns everything into fire and blood in the streets.

Palestinians and muslims don't just hate Jews and Israelis, they hate literally everyone who is better off.

ANY DAY NOW....

Anybody else expecting Carney to request UN Peacekeepers to keep Canada safe from US? It feels like it is only a matter of time now before he decides to request assistance to guard his border against US incursions and while he is now really good pals with the Axis Powers in Europe it has become clear that the whole of the EU has about as much actual combat power remaining to it as ECOMOG.

Do the UN actually send peacekeepers anywhere these days? When is the last time you heard of real peacekeepers keeping the peace in boundary or threshold states? I mean other than things like 8th US Army in Korea?
