Do you get the sense that if the EU Leaders thought they could get away with it, they would attack Russia right now because they imagine that they could win such a war? They sound less and less attached to reality as time goes by. I admit I think they are just crazy enough to pull a Manuel Noriega and declare war on a country that they could not beat in a hundred years. I'll bet all their lawyers are mulling over all the ramifications of NATO launching a war of aggression against the Russians instead of doing right by the treaty. God knows they've been doing everything in their power to goad Russia into attacking them so they can start waving the bloody shirt and get on with distracting the peasants from all the awful horrible things they've been doing for the last 30 years.
I suppose they'll pat themselves firmly on the back and go forth because theirs' is a just cause.

All we can hope is this isn't the End of Times (as folks thought of several times earlier like the Great War and so on) as Revelations the whore of Babylon seems to be America and she's NOT going to enjoy her punishment (sounds almost nuclear-emp).
One must ask why. Why are they doing this? What are they trying to distract us from? Cui bono?
The Euro contingent has lived for so long under the American umbrella, they've forgotten what real rain feels like. Time for the US to fold up our umbrella and go home.
The EU thinks sending their drafted youth is all they risk picking a fight with Russia, like in 1914-1918. Modern warfare really means they are putting their entire populations and cities at risk. I recommend the Russians take out Brussels first.
The 'coalition of the willing' are eager for war. Given their recent rattling about not needing the U.S., I think they mean to set about to prove it to themselves. It will not go well for them. Anyone can see that, but their eyes are so clouded with hubris.
Imprisoning their own for alleged internet malfeasance has generated too much bad press.
Allowing, nay welcoming, wave after wave of unfettered migration have put the western euro countries on the precipice of insolvency.
A good ol fashion land war is European tradition at its finest. This is their hour, they must prove that they still have it. And without those petulant upstarts across the pond.
