Do you get the sense that if the EU Leaders thought they could get away with it, they would attack Russia right now because they imagine that they could win such a war? They sound less and less attached to reality as time goes by. I admit I think they are just crazy enough to pull a Manuel Noriega and declare war on an country that they could not beat in a hundred years. I'll bet all their lawyers are mulling over all the ramifications of NATO launching a war of aggression against the Russians instead of doing right by the treaty. God knows they've been doing everything in their power to goad Russia into attacking them so they can start waving the bloody shirt and get on with distracting the peasants from all the awful horrible things they've been doing for the last 30 years.
I suppose they'll pat themselves firmly on the back and go forth because theirs' is a just cause.
