I was very reluctant to launch yet another attack on Iran for whatever reason and to explain why let me just say that I was right there when we did it the last time. I remember it well. We cut short a 10 restricted availability in Jubail back in April, 1988 and sortied out to the site of the USS Samuel B. Roberts minefield where we conducted MCM operations while the war drums were taken out of the closet and tuned up. We continued clearing operations even as the USN attacked every Iranian warship they could find and did their very best to destroy them in retaliation for mining one of our ships and then we decided we were done and called it off and behaved as if nothing happened.
So yeah, we did something like that again and once again we are done. I'd just like to point out that when we did it in April of 1988 I think the Iranians decided then and there to start producing an atomic weapon as rapidly and covertly as possible and that's just what they did.
Of course nuclear weapons are one of three Weapons of Mass Destruction and for our purposes any attack by any one of the three WMD is all the excuse we need to retaliate with the full weight of our nuclear arsenal because we promised long ago to end and destroy all our research and weapons of mass destruction in the Chemical and Biological ways of making war.
You know what is actually dead easy to make and deliver anywhere in the wide world overnight? Biological weapons fit the bill and some people say that was just what the COVID fiasco was, the first known employment of man-made biological weapons around the world.
So, do I think the flap with Iran and islam is over? Nope. Forget counting the number of Iranians we have educated in nuclear engineering, imagine how many we and the West have graduated from our universities with advanced degrees in all aspects of bio-engineering.
Back when I was young we covered all aspects of NBC or Nuclear, Biological and Chemical ways of war. We didn't dwell on using it since that was a specialty and one mostly restricted to the Air Force and Army so we just concentrated on what we could expect to deal with if the Agents were ever spread over us. We learned about countermeasures and that some of those weapons were very persistent and would remain deadly for years or decades if used. Holding one's breath wasn't an option because this stuff would just penetrate directly through your skin if it came in contact.
On the gripping hand, it is hard to lay waste to an entire continent although that makes me wonder sometimes about what happened in Australia but it is pretty easy to contaminate a city. I wonder which city they would start with.....
Wait, don't tell me, it's on the tip of my tongue.

What do you mean, "what happened in Australia"?
If you mean why is it so desolate inland, well, examine Dr Walt Brown's hydroplate theory as a model how our current planetary configuration came about:

Or for chemical weapons, there were some nasty tests of those things during the last century....no surprise, they work better where it is warm and moist.
And as for bioweapons, Oz was a key testing ground for the 'rona.....never thought my adopted country could go so full Nazi so fast. Then again, it did start as a penal colony and post WW1 something curious happened to its so called independence.
Humans have never had a good track record when it comes to restraint. So sooner or later somebody somewhere WILL use a bioweapon on a large scale in an unmistakable attack. Covid may or may not have been one, hard to say for certainty. The original Star Trek series did an episode about one possible outcome to such an event...an episode called The Omega Glory. Other writers have written fictional possibilities of what such an event may do to humanity and civilization. None of them particularly pretty.
It may be possible to fight intolerance, stupidity, and fanaticism separately, but when they come together there is no hope.

7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” 8 Behold, I saw a horse, pale greenish gray. The name of the one riding on it was Death, and Sheol was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword and by famine and by plague and by the wild beasts of the earth.[f]
I listened to Bill Bryson's book on Australia about traveling the outback and going to nowhere and how deadly and dangerous it was to all forms of life I know and if there was every a place that defined a land shunned by God, it would be the great Australia desert. Plus the deadly snakes, fish, and animals. Plus the killing heat. Plus the near total lack of water. I mean it sounds almost as bad as Texas!
I liked the occasional references to the Wizard War in the books about A Small Colonial War. I know one of my readers hated it but it struck several chords with me and captures something I used to have once a long time ago.
It bothers me a lot that so many people let the political opposition live rent free in their heads 24 hours a day and do nothing but obsess about how injured they are by the actions of people who don't even know them and could not care less. The TDS is on par with nothing in my history of the world and anyone who compared the actions of Trump as President vs an evil man like Wilson or FDR would be shocked at how little Trump has done to earn their hatred and enmity in comparison to what both of those men did as president.
Well the ZOGland and Canuckistan already has prions which can eat out what little brains whiggers have.
