HOIST ON THEIR OWN PETARDS

It occurs to me as I am reading about how the media tried its usual gotcha game on one of President Trump's nominees that they opened a door that they really should have left closed. In fact it is a door they really forgot all about and I'm sure they hope nobody remembers how the military works at the upper levels. It's very simple, if the Commander wants a subordinate gone for any reason all he has to do is announce that he has lost confidence in that commander's ability to command and HE IS GONE BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY. Those are the wishy washy words they use now whenever an officer gets sacked from command. There doesn't have to be any valid reason since loss of confidence in him is all that is required to remove him. I imagine the Commanding General at West Point will be asked for the discipline meted out to the Public Affairs Officers that lied to the media and if his answer is less than forthcoming, I imagine that the Secretary of Defense will lose confidence in him/her overnight.

President Trump's new Secretary of Defense can walk into his office on his first day and simply declare that he has lost confidence in the entire Joint Chiefs of Staffs and they are done. I think he can put anybody he wants to into those billets right away as Acting CNO or Chief of Staff and that will work just as long it takes for President Trump to nominate officers for Senate confirmation....however many months that will be.

Admittedly, there may be something about the Deputy stepping up as Acting but a quiet word in the appropriate ears would see that they played ball or get the bat shoved up....well you know where that bat goes.

Along with all the pedophiles and spies Joe pardoned were men found guilty of violation of Article 125 of the UCMJ. I wonder if there really is anything at all that that man finds criminal. I imagine Sy Penland is tearing her hair out in a frenzy trying to get her convictions and sentence swept away by the scum surrounding Biden. She was just the second naval officer I worked with who was convinced that she was smarter than literally everybody else and also completely untouchable. She was wrong and so was the other guy.
