I found this wonderful and informative video at "The Age of Sail" blog. It shows how indescribable conditions were on the gun decks of wooden warships of the Revolutionary and Napoleonic era.

Truth: Clear and Simple

A Great Victory

When you think about it, the Wise in conclave, decided that the thing to do after this great but meaningless victory was to advance deep into enemy territory and fight a battle that they knew they could not win.

Using a 1955 World Atlas they found in a ruin, islamic terrorists selected the leading industrial city in America on which to target their wrath and their first atomic weapon. They picked Detroit.
