NOTHING AT ALL

Funny how little remains in the hands of the ruthless. Sure, they have their stuff and the stuff they took but everything else was thrown in the trash or given to Goodwill. The great Purge.

As I look around it is hard not to see that all that remains here are the presents, beautiful incredibly thoughtful presents and the things we bought together on a lark. No clutter, no knickknacks since these are really difficult to achieve when the only flat surface is the table one eats off and it's usually covered with mail and a really skinny mantle. It's not a home in the way that my daughter has a home, like I had a home. Bachelor space. Just the 2 chairs at the table these days.

Not going to go buy another $5k cabinet to display stuff in. Done with all that.
